The British UFO Research Association or BUFORA is a UK organisation formerly registered as "BUFORA Ltd"; dedicated to investigating UFO phenomena in the British Isles. In 1997 the organisation was reported to have around 1,000 members.

The Center for UFO Studies (CUFOS) is a privately funded UFO research group. The group was founded in 1973 by J. Allen Hynek, who at the time was Chair of the Department of Astronomy at Northwestern University in Illinois.

Citizens Against UFO Secrecy (CAUS) is a freedom of information activist group that advocates for the release of classified information regarding UFOs.

Istanbul UFO Museum was the fourth international UFO museum, and is located in the Beyoğlu district of Istanbul, Turkey. Founded by Haktan Akdoğan's Sirius UFO Space Sciences Research Center in 2001, the museum contains various photos, videos, reports, UFO-alien models, and a library about UFO's and extraterrestrial life.

The Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) is a US-based non-profit organization composed of civilian volunteers who study reported UFO sightings. It is one of the oldest and largest organizations of its kind, claiming more than 4,000 members worldwide with chapters and representatives in more than 43 countries and all 50 states. The organization has been criticized for its focus on pseudoscience, and critics say its investigators fail to use the scientific method.

Vision Ovni, founded in 1991, is an Argentine national UFO research organisation.
