Ace Custis

Adrian "Ace" Custis is an American basketball coach and former professional basketball player. He last played in Japan with the Wakayama Trians and is now an NCAA Division I coach. After a severe knee injury while trying out for the Dallas Mavericks, Ace became known as one of the best power forwards throughout Asia playing in such countries as Lebanon, Japan, Qatar, Indonesia, Syria and the Philippines. Ace made a further name for himself in prestigious clubs such as Al Riyadi where he won a championship. Ace graduated from Virginia Tech and won the 1995 NIT championship. In 1997, Ace was an NCAA All-American. In 2007, Ace was inducted into the Virginia Tech Sports Hall of Fame; his #20 jersey was retired and hangs alongside the NBA shooting great Dell Curry. Techhoops, a basketball publication, named Ace Custis one of the 10 greatest players ever in Virginia Tech history.

Takuya Kawamura is a Japanese professional basketball guard currently signed to the SeaHorses Mikawa. In 2005, he skipped college and started playing professional basketball, following Kazuo Nakamura's advice. In 2009, he decided to leave the Japan Basketball League and try to earn a contract in the NBA. In the 2009 NBA Summer League, the Phoenix Suns added Kawamura to their roster. He has been dubbed "Offence Machine" and very talkative as he had a radio show on Tochigi's Radio Berry FM.

He played college basketball for the Georgetown Hoyas during the late 1990s, earning a reputation for his defensive proficiency and shot-blocking skills. His professional career has taken all around the world, playing with over 20 different teams. In addition, between 2000 and 2007, Watkins had four NBA training camp/preseason stints, but never played in a regular season game for any of them.
