
1-nichi Gaishutsuroku Hanchō is a Japanese manga series written by Tensei Hagiwara and illustrated by Motomu Uehara and Kazuya Arai. It is a spin-off of the main series Kaiji by Nobuyuki Fukumoto. It has been published in Kodansha's Weekly Young Magazine since December 2016. Part of the manga was adapted as segmented episodes within the Mr. Tonegawa: Middle Management Blues anime series. A drama CD based on the series was included on the second DVD/Blu-ray Disc release of the series in March 2019.

Addicted to Curry is a cooking manga series, containing full professional recipes for all dishes at the end of each chapter, written and illustrated by Kazuki Funatsu, published in Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump between 2001 and 2012.

Aji Ichi Monme is a Japanese cooking manga series written by Zenta Abe and illustrated by Yoshimi Kurata. After the death of Abe in 1999, other series have been released with other writers. The sixth series, Aji Ichi Monme: Tsugi Aji, began in 2018. Angel's Frypan is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Etsushi Ogawa. It was serialized in Kodansha's Comic Bom Bom, which was aimed at elementary-aged boys. The manga received the 2007 Kodansha Manga Award for the children's category.

Antique Bakery is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Fumi Yoshinaga. The slice of life series follows the lives of four men who work in a pâtisserie. Cinderella Chef, aka Meng Qi Shi Shen, Adorable Food Goddess, is a donghua ONA series aired in 2018, published by Yuewen Animation (阅文动画) and produced by Wawayu Animation (娃娃鱼动画) in Hangzhou. The animation was adapted from the eponymous online novel written by Ziyi 281 (紫伊281).
Cooking Papa is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tochi Ueyama. It has been serialized in Kodansha's seinen anthology magazine Morning since 1985. Kodansha has collected its into individual tankōbon volumes and it has a total of 157 volumes as of April 2021, making it one of the longest manga series by number of volumes. The story revolves around a salaryman who can cook well and full recipes for the dishes featured in each chapter are provided at the end of the chapter.

Cooking with Wild Game is a Japanese light novel series written by EDA and illustrated by Kochimo. It began serialization online in 2014 on the user-generated novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō. It was acquired by Hobby Japan, who published the first light novel volume in October 2015 under their HJ Novels imprint. Twenty five volumes have been released as of June 2021. A manga adaptation with art by Kochimo has been serialized online via Hobby Japan's Comic Fire website since 2018. Both the light novel and manga have been licensed in North America by J-Novel Club.

Dagashi Kashi (だがしかし) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Kotoyama. A manga adaptation with art by Virginia Nitōhei began serialization in Kadokawa Shoten's seinen manga magazine Young Ace from July 2015. Currently, it's been collected in 12 Japanese tankōbon volumes, with 9 of them have been translated into English Language Version so far as of now. Udon Entertainment announced during their panel at San Diego Comic-Con International that they have licensed the manga. An original net animation adaptation by Sunrise premiered from April 13 to September 14, 2018.

Kakuriyo: Bed & Breakfast for Spirits is a Japanese light novel series written by Midori Yūma and illustrated by Laruha. Fujimi Shobo have published eleven volumes since 2015 under their Fujimi L Bunko imprint. Kirakira Pretty Cure a la Mode , stylized as Kirakira☆PreCure a la Mode is a 2017 Japanese magical girl anime series produced by Toei Animation and the fourteenth installment in Izumi Todo's Pretty Cure metaseries, featuring the twelfth generation of Cures. It is directed by Kohei Kureta and Yukio Kaizawa. Jin Tanaka wrote the script, and Marie Ino designed the characters. The cake and sweets designs were handled by pâtissière Junko Fukuda. The series began airing on all All-Nippon News Network stations in Japan on February 5, 2017, succeeding Witchy PreCure! in its initial timeslot. It was then succeeded by Hug! Pretty Cure on February 4, 2018. The series' main topic is happiness, while desserts and animals serve as the motif.

Kitchen Princess is a shōjo cooking, romance manga series written by Miyuki Kobayashi and illustrated by Natsumi Andō. Appearing as a serial in the manga magazine Nakayoshi from the September 2004 issue to the October 2008 issue, the forty-seven chapters were compiled into ten bound volumes by Kodansha, and published from February 2005 to November 2008. It also includes recipes for each featured dish at the end of each chapter. The series marked the first time that Ando illustrated a manga that was not also written by her. Set in modern-day Japan, Kitchen Princess follows Najika Kazami, a cheerful thirteen-year-old who searches for her "flan prince," a boy who rescued her from drowning as a young girl and brought a little happiness to her life after her parents' death. In March 2008, Kodansha published a related light novel, Kitchen Princess: Search for the Angel Cake, written by Kobayashi and illustrated by Ando.

Kiyo in Kyoto: From the Maiko House</ref> is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Aiko Koyama. It has been serialized in Shogakukan's Weekly Shōnen Sunday magazine since December 2016, with its chapters collected in eighteen tankōbon volumes as of October 2021. An anime television series adaptation by J.C.Staff premiered worldwide in February 2021 on NHK World, and it was followed by a Japanese broadcast on NHK E in October of the same year. As of March 2020, the manga had 1 million copies in circulation. In 2020, the manga won the 65th Shogakukan Manga Award for the shōnen category.

Oishinbo is a long-running Japanese cooking manga series written by Tetsu Kariya and drawn by Akira Hanasaki. The manga's title is a portmanteau of the Japanese word for delicious, oishii, and the word for someone who loves to eat, kuishinbo. The series depicts the adventures of culinary journalist Shirō Yamaoka and his partner, Yūko Kurita. It was published by Shogakukan between 1983 and 2008 in Big Comic Spirits, and resumed again on February 23, 2009, only to be put on an indefinite hiatus after the May 12, 2014 edition in the weekly Big Comic Spirits as a response by the publisher to harsh criticism of Oishinbo's treatment of the Fukushima Daiichi disaster.

Restaurant to Another World is a Japanese light novel series written by Junpei Inuzuka, with illustrations by Katsumi Enami. Shufunotomo have released five volumes of the series since February 2015. A continuation, Gente: The People of Ristorante Paradiso , was serialized in the same magazine from September 2006 to January 2009. An anime adaptation, produced by David Production, aired on Fuji TV's late night Noise programming block from April to June 2009. The anime was also officially streamed with English subtitles by Crunchyroll. Both manga series, Ristorante Paradiso and Gente, have been licensed by Viz Media for an English-language release in North America.

Shōta no Sushi is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Daisuke Terasawa about a teen boy Shota Sekiguchi and his journey from an apprentice to become a sushi chef. It was later adapted into TV series, produced by Fuji TV. The manga series ended when Shota won the regional sushi competition in Tokyo. A sequel continued with him being the Tokyo representative in the national competition, to keep a promise for a re-match with his rival Saji Yasuto.

Silver Spoon is a Japanese coming-of-age manga series written and illustrated by Hiromu Arakawa, serialized in Shogakukan's Weekly Shōnen Sunday from April 2011 to November 2019. The story is set in the fictional Ooezo Agricultural High School in Hokkaido, and depicts the daily life of Yuugo Hachiken, a high school student from Sapporo who enrolled at Ooezo Agricultural High School fleeing from the demands of his strict father. However, he soon learns that life on an agricultural school is not as easy as he initially believed. Unlike his new classmates, he has no intention of following an agricultural career after graduating, although he envies them for already having set goals for their lives and the pursuit of their dreams.

A thirteen-episode original net animation adaptation by Ufotable aired monthly from January 25, 2018, to January 1, 2019.

Tokachi Hitoribocchi Nōen is a Japanese non-fiction manga series written and illustrated by Yūji Yokoyama. It has been serialized in Shogakukan's Weekly Shōnen Sunday since November 2017.

Toriko (トリコ) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Mitsutoshi Shimabukuro. It follows the adventures of Toriko, a Gourmet Hunter, as he searches for rare, diverse foods to complete a full-course meal. Tsukiji Uogashi Sandaime (築地魚河岸三代目) is a Japanese manga series by Masaharu Nabeshima with art by Mitsuo Hashimoto. It has been adapted into a 2008 Japanese film directed by Shingo Matsubara. The film was intended to be part of a series.

What Did You Eat Yesterday? is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Fumi Yoshinaga. The slice of life series focuses on the relationship between Shiro Kakei and Kenji Yabuki, a middle-aged gay couple living in Tokyo, Japan. The manga has been serialized in the manga magazine Morning since February 2007, and was adapted into a live-action television drama by Shochiku that aired on TV Tokyo in 2019; a film sequel to the television drama is slated for release in November 2021. Both the manga and its live-action adaption have received widespread critical acclaim, winning a Kodansha Manga Award, a Galaxy Award, and multiple Television Drama Academy Awards.

Yakitate!! Japan is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Takashi Hashiguchi. It was serialized in Shogakukan's Weekly Shōnen Sunday from December 2001 to January 2007, with its chapters collected in twenty-six tankōbon volumes. A 69-episode anime television series adaptation by Sunrise was broadcast on TV Tokyo from October 2004 to March 2006. In North America, the manga was licensed in English by Viz Media in 2005 and Nozomi Entertainment licensed the anime series in 2014. Yakitate!! Japan won the 49th Shogakukan Manga Award for the shōnen category in 2004.

Yumeiro Patissiere is a shōjo manga and anime series by Natsumi Matsumoto. It began serialization on September 3, 2008, in the October 2008 issue of Ribon. The series ended on June 3, 2011, with a total of 12 tankōbon volumes. The manga won the 56th Shogakukan Manga Awards in the Children's category.
