The Arrival from the Darkness aka Redivivus is a 1921 Czechoslovak silent fantasy horror film directed by Jan S. Kolár.

Body Without Soul is a 1996 documentary film about a number of 14- to 17-year-old boys in Prague working as prostitutes. The creator of the documentary, Wiktor Grodecki, interviews the boys about their lives and how they got into sex work. The film explores their hopes and fears, and the boys talk about their bodies and souls, money, their sexual orientation, AIDS, their dreams, and death.

Colette, also released under the name Prisoner of Auschwitz, is a 2013 English language Czech-Slovak-Dutch war film written and directed by Milan Cieslar and starring Jirí Mádl and Clémence Thioly. It is set in World War II and based on the Arnošt Lustig book, A girl from Antwerp.

Doktor od jezera hrochů is a Czech comedy film directed by Zdeněk Troška. It was released in 2010.

Family Film is a 2015 Czech drama adventure film by Slovenian director Olmo Omerzu. The story is about teenagers whose parents go on vacation and leave them at home. The film also follows the family's dog Otto who is lost on a deserted island and tries to survive. The film was shot in Prague and Thailand.

Habermann is a 2010 Czech-German-Austrian drama film directed by Juraj Herz. In the story, the lives of a German mill owner and his family in the Sudetenland are changed dramatically as Europe heats up in 1938. The movie is based on true events and is the first major motion picture to dramatize the expulsion of 3 million Germans from Czechoslovakia.

Havel is a 2020 Czech historical film based on the life of dissident and former Czech president Václav Havel. It is directed by Slávek Horák and stars Viktor Dvořák. The film focuses on Havel's life from 1968 to 1989, when he was a dissident under the Communist regime, as well as his relationship with his wife Olga and friend Pavel Landovský.

Honeymoon is a 2013 Czech drama film directed by Jan Hřebejk. It was nominated for the Crystal Globe at the 48th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, where Hřebejk won the Best Director Award. The film was also screened in the Contemporary World Cinema section at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival.

Ice Mother is a 2017 Czech drama film directed by Bohdan Sláma. It was selected as the Czech entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 90th Academy Awards, but it was not nominated.

Identity Card is a 2010 Czech comedy film by Ondřej Trojan based on a story by Petr Šabach. The film premiered on 21 October 2010.

Idyla ze staré Prahy is a 1918 Bohemian/Czech romantic drama film, which was directed by architect, producer and amateur director Max Urban. The film was made in 1913 but released in 1918, which was near the end of the World War I and six weeks before the creation of Czechoslovakia. The film is now lost, so the plot and runtime aren't known. The main role was played by Anna Sedláčková, the director's wife.

In Silence is a 2014 Czech-Slovak biographical film written and directed by Zdeněk Jiráský. The film, which deals with the issue of Jewish musicians in the 1930s, was partially funded on Kickstarter. It received a nomination for the Czech Lion Award for Best Film Poster at the 2014 ceremony, but the award went to Fair Play.

In the Shadow is a 2012 Czech crime film directed by David Ondříček. The film was selected as the Czech entry for the Best Foreign Language Oscar at the 85th Academy Awards, but it did not make the final shortlist.

Innocence is a 2011 Czech drama film directed by Jan Hřebejk.

Insects is a surreal comedy film directed by Jan Švankmajer, the film is based on the play Pictures from the Insects' Life by Karel and Josef Čapek. Švankmajer stated that the film would be his last. It premiered on 26 January 2018 at International Film Festival Rotterdam. The film follows amateur actors rehearsing Pictures from the Insects' Life. The actors find themselves living out their characters' roles and hallucinating insects. Insects is intercut with the creative process of the film itself and interviews with the actors about their dreams.


Kajínek is a 2010 Czech action drama film directed by Petr Jákl. The film received an award at the Festival International du Film Policier de Liege 2011. The film is based on the story of Jiří Kajínek, who managed to escape from a strictly guarded prison in the Mírov fortress.

The Lantern is a 1925 Czech film directed by Karel Lamač and starring Theodor Pištěk and Anny Ondra. It is based on a play by Alois Jirásek. Lamač made a remake with the same name in 1938.

Leaving is a 2011 Czech drama film written and directed by Václav Havel, based on his play of the same name, an absurdist look at the life of an ex-politician. The film received two Czech Lion awards.

Little from the Fish Shop is a Czech animated film written and directed by Jan Balej. The film is loosely based on Hans Christian Andersen's story "The Little Mermaid". It uses puppets animated in stop motion.

Long Live the Family! is a 2011 Czech crime film directed by Robert Sedláček. The film won the Czech Film Critics' Award for the best film of 2011.

The Lovers of an Old Criminal is a 1927 Czechoslovak comedy film directed by Svatopluk Innemann.
The Magical Duvet is a 2011 Czech musical film directed by F. A. Brabec. It is the first Czech non-animated 3D feature film.

Matrix AB is a 2015 Czech documentary film by Vít Klusák. It centers on Czech politician and businessman Andrej Babiš whom Klusák filmed for about one year with Babiš's permission. It shows Babiš in his private life and also during the political campaign for the 2013 legislative election. It also shows Babiš's business partners, critics and members of his party and their views of Babiš. These people include Martin Komárek, Jan Kasl and Sabina Slonková. There are also moments when Babiš forgets that he is being watched by cameras and says controversial things. The film ends with Babiš's reaction to the film where he calls it a "dirty trick".

The May Fairy is a 1926 Czech silent romance film directed by Karl Anton based on a Vilém Mrštík's novel. It is credited with helping to introduce the tradition of lyricism in Czech cinema. It was shot in several locations including Prague and Vienna. Another adaptation of the novel was made in 1940 by Otakar Vávra.

Men in Hope is a 2011 Czech romantic sex comedy film written and directed by Jiří Vejdělek.

Milada is a 2017 Czech biographical film written, produced and directed by David Mrnka. Produced in the English language, it stars Israeli actress Ayelet Zurer as Milada Horáková. The film was a Czech-American co-production by Loaded Vision Entertainment. The movie follows the life of Milada Horáková (1901–1950), a politician who was hanged by the Czechoslovakian communist party on fabricated charges of conspiracy and treason.

National Street is a 2019 Czech drama film starring Hynek Čermák. It is based on a book by Jaroslav Rudiš of the same name.

Nicky's Family is a 2011 Czech docudrama directed by Matej Mináč. It is based on the work of Nicholas Winton prior to the outbreak of World War II.

Not Angels But Angels is a 1994 documentary film about teenage boys and young men in Prague working as prostitutes, primarily there and also in other European cities in the region. The creator of the documentary, Wiktor Grodecki interviews the hustlers, who give ages ranging from 14 to 20 years, to find out more about their lives and how they came to make a living by selling sex. The film explores their hopes and fears, what they hope to be doing in the future, and coping with the possibility of being infected with HIV. The film also presents comments by a man who arranges liaisons between tourists and young male hustlers in the Prague central train station. The conversations are in a mix of Czech with English subtitles, and English.

On the Roof is a 2019 Czech comedy-drama film. It stars Alois Švehlík who replaced Jan Tříska. Tříska died before shooting started so he had to be recast.

Patrimony is a 2018 Czech comedy film directed by Jiří Vejdělek.

The Phantom of Morrisville is a Czech comedy film directed by Borivoj Zeman. It was released in 1966.

The Poisoned Light is a 1921 Czechoslovak silent adventure film directed by Jan S. Kolár and Karel Lamač.

Revival is a 2013 comedy film written and directed by Alice Nellis and starring Bolek Polívka, Marián Geišberg, Karel Heřmánek and Miroslav Krobot. The film won the Audience Award at the 48th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in 2013. Revival received 11 nominations at the 2013 Czech Lion Awards, but did not win in any categories.

Sekal Has to Die is a 1998 Czech film directed by Vladimír Michálek. It was the Czech Republic's submission to the 71st Academy Awards for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film, but was not accepted as a nominee.

Seven Days of Sin is a 2012 Czech historical drama film directed by Jiří Chlumský.

Shadow Country is a 2020 Czech historical drama film directed by Bohdan Sláma. It is inspired by Tušť massacre from May 1945. It chronicles life of a small village from 1930s to 1950s. The film premiered at the 2020 Summer Film School Uherské Hradiště and is set to release to theatres on 10 September 2020. The film won six Czech Lion Awards including Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress, and Best Screenplay.

The Snake Brothers is a 2015 Czech crime drama film directed by Jan Prušinovský. The film is set in a small Czech town Kralupy nad Vltavou in central Bohemia, Czech Republic.

Sunday League – Pepik Hnatek's Final Match is a 2012 Czech comedy film directed by Jan Prušinovský.

Talks with TGM is a 2018 Czech historical film by Jakub Červenka. It premiered 100 years after foundation of Czechoslovakia. It is based on a book of the same name by Karel Čapek. It focuses on the first Czechoslovak president Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk and writer Karel Čapek and their dialogue in 1928.

Tankový prapor is a Czech comedy film. It was released in 1991. The movie represented the first privately produced movie in Czech Republic. It was a blockbuster. Today, the movie is perceived as a classic, it is the most acclaimed movie of his creator, director Vit Olmer, it starred Lukáš Vaculík, a popular star of youth movies in the main role, as well as the by-then well received comedian Miroslav Donutil.

Tram is a 2012 Czech short animated film directed by Michaela Pavlátová about the conductress of a tram and her sexual fantasies on it.

Vášnivý bozk is a 1995 Czecho-Slovak psychological drama film starring Jozef Kroner, Ivana Chýlková, and Jiří Bartoška.

The Way Out is a 2014 Czech-French social drama film directed by Czech director Petr Václav. It premiered at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival. The film won seven Czech Lion awards, including selected Best Czech Film of 2014 and Best Director. According to Variety, The Way Out is a story of a "young gypsy woman trying to lead a 'normal' life [...] in a constant battle against prejudice and her own community's entrenched behavior."

We Are Never Alone is a 2016 Czech drama film directed by Petr Vaclav. It was selected to be screened in the Contemporary World Cinema section at the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival.

Where Butterflies Don't Fly is the name of the upcoming feature film based on the original screenplay by Roman Němec. The main roles will be performed by the theater actor Daniel Krejčík as a nineteen-year-old student grammar school student and Jiří Vojta as his teacher. Filming began in May 2020. The story takes place in Kadaň and cave complexes.

Winter Flies is a 2018 Czech-Slovak-Polish-Slovenian co-production road movie drama by Slovenian director Olmo Omerzu. It premiered at Karlovy Vary International Film Festival on 1 July 2018.

Yuma is a 2012 Polish-Czech action film directed by Piotr Mularuk.
