
The ITF Women's Circuit is the second-tier tour for women's professional tennis organised by the International Tennis Federation, and is the tier below the WTA Tour. In 2001, the ITF Women's circuit included tournaments with prize money ranging from $10,000 to $75,000. In addition to the traditional tournament format, there were also two four-week circuits worth $40,000 each in prize money and two four-week development circuits each worth $20,000.

The BCR Open Romania Ladies was a tennis tournament held in Bucharest, the capital of Romania. This ITF Circuit event was a $100,000+H tournament. It started off being a $25,000 back in 2007 but has slowly increased the prize money and was played on outdoor clay courts.

The Boar's Head Resort Women's Open (formerly known as the Boyd Tinsley Clay Court Classic) is a tournament for professional female tennis players played on outdoor clay courts. The event is classified as a $60,000 ITF Women's Circuit tournament and has been held annually in Charlottesville, Virginia, United States, since 2002.

The Camparini Gioielli Cup is a professional tennis tournament played on outdoor red clay courts. It is currently part of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Challenger Tour and ITF Women's Circuit. It is held annually at the Circolo Tennis Reggio Emilia in Reggio Emilia, Italy, since 2003.

The Challenger de Gatineau, currently sponsored as Challenger Banque Nationale de Gatineau, is a professional tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts. It is currently part of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Challenger Tour and the ITF Women's Circuit. It has been held annually in Gatineau, Quebec, Canada, since 2014 for women and since 2016 for men.

The Challenger de Granby, currently sponsored as Challenger Banque Nationale de Granby, is a professional tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts. It is currently part of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Challenger Tour and the ITF Women's Circuit. It has been held annually in Granby, Quebec, Canada, since 1993 for men, and 2011 for women.

The Challenger de Saguenay, currently sponsored as Challenger Banque Nationale de Saguenay, is a professional tennis tournament played on indoor hard courts. The event is classified as a $60,000 ITF Women's Circuit tournament and has been held in Saguenay, Quebec, Canada since 2006.

The Clearwater Women's Open was a tournament for professional female tennis players played on outdoor hard courts. The event was classified as a $25,000 ITF Women's Circuit tournament and was held in Clearwater, Florida, United States, from 2005 to 2012.

The Copa Bionaire was a tournament for female professional tennis players played on outdoor clay courts. The event was classified as a WTA 125s tournament. It was held annually in Cali, Colombia, from 2008 to 2013. The first edition of the tournament was held in Bogotá in 2007.

The Danish Open was a professional women's tennis tournament played 2010–12 on indoor hard courts in Farum, Denmark north of Copenhagen. The event was affiliated with the Women's Tennis Association (WTA), and is an International-level tournament on the WTA Tour. The tournament may be viewed as a continuation of the ITF event 2008 Nordea Danish Open in Odense. A plan to change surface to red clay in 2012, still played indoors in Farum, was dropped due to the cost.

The Dow Tennis Classic or Dow Corning Tennis Classic (DCTC) is an ITF Women's Circuit tennis tournament. It is played in February–March each year in Midland, Michigan. From 2010 to 2020, it was a $100,000 category tournament. In 2021, it was upgraded to WTA 125 level event.

The Fergana Challenger is a professional tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts. It is currently part of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Challenger Tour and the ITF Women's Circuit. It has been held annually at the Istiklol Tennis Club in Fergana, Uzbekistan, since 2000.

The Georgia's Rome Tennis Open is a tournament for professional female tennis players played on outdoor hard courts. The event is classified as a $60,000 ITF Women's World Tennis Tour tournament and has been held in Rome, Georgia, United States, since 2021.

The Hardee's Pro Classic (formerly known as the Movie Gallery Pro Tennis Classic and the Dothan Pro Tennis Classic) is a tennis tournament held on outdoor clay courts at the Westgate Tennis Center in Dothan, Alabama. It has been held since 2001 and is part of the ITF Women's Circuit as a $80,000 event. In the past it has been a $25,000 event (2001) and a $75,000 event (2002–2009).

The International Country Cuneo was a tournament for professional female tennis players played on outdoor clay courts. The event was classified as a $15,000 ITF Women's Circuit tournament. It was held annually in Cuneo, Italy from 1999 to 2018. The tournament was previously a $100,000 tournament. The tournament was not held from 2012 to 2016 and was revived in 2017 as a $15,000 tournament.

The Internazionali di Tenis Femminili Città di Latina was a tournament for professional female tennis players played on outdoor clay courts. The event was classified as a $50,000 ITF Women's Circuit tournament and was held in Latina, Italy, in 2003 and from 2007 to 2009.

The Internazionali di Tennis del Friuli Venezia Giulia is a professional tennis tournament played on outdoor red clay courts. It is currently part of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Challenger Tour and the International Tennis Federation (ITF) Women's Circuit. It is held annually at the A.S.D. Eurotennis Club in Cordenons, Italy, since 2004.

The ITF Roller Open was a tournament for professional female tennis players played on outdoor clay courts. The event was classified as a $100,000 ITF Women's Circuit tournament. It was held annually in Pétange, Luxembourg, from 2001 to 2011.

The Lexington Challenger is a professional tennis tournament played on outdoor hardcourts. It is currently part of the ATP Challenger Tour and the WTA Tour, and has been held annually at the Hilary J. Boone Tennis Complex in Lexington, Kentucky, since 1995 for men and since 1997 for women.

The Manchester Trophy is a professional tennis tournament played on outdoor grass courts. It was previously part of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Challenger Tour and now currently part of the International Tennis Federation (ITF) Women's Circuit. It is held annually at the Northern Lawn Tennis Club in the Didsbury suburb of Manchester, England, United Kingdom, since 1995. The original defunct tournament, the Manchester Open, began in 1880 and continued until the event became a lower level Challenger tournament in 1995. The Challenger level event ended in 2009, but was revived in 2015. The men's tournament was discontinued after the 2016 edition while the women's tournament was established in 2017.

The Open Castilla y León is a professional tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts. It is currently part of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Challenger Tour and the International Tennis Federation (ITF) Women's Circuit. It has been held annually at the Villa de El Espinar in El Espinar, Segovia Province, Spain since 1986. The women's event was added to the tournament in 2015.
The Open de Cagnes-sur-Mer is a tennis tournament held in Cagnes-sur-Mer, France. Held since 1998, this ITF Circuit event is a $80,000 tournament. It started off being a $10,000 event back in 1998 but has slowly increased the prize money and is played on outdoor clay courts. After many years as a $100,000 tournament, it was downgraded in 2019 to a $80,000 category event.

It was part of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Challenger Tour and ITF Women's Circuit. It was annually held at the Club Tenis Pozoblanco in Pozoblanco, Spain from 1999 to 2012.

The Palm Beach Gardens Challenger was a tournament for female professional tennis players played on outdoor clay courts. The event was classified as an ITF $50,000 Tournament from 2003 to 2005 and ITF $25,000 Tournament from 2006 to 2008. It was held annually in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, United States, from 2003 through to 2008. It was part of the ITF Women's Circuit from 2003-2008; a tier below the Women's Tennis Association.

The Samsung Securities Cup was a professional tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts. It was part of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Challenger Tour and the ITF Women's Circuit. The men's event was held annually in Seoul, South Korea, from 2000 to 2013, the women's event parallel from 2011 to 2013.

The Shimadzu All Japan Indoor Tennis Championships is a professional tennis tournament played on indoor carpet courts. It is currently part of the International Tennis Federation (ITF) ITF Women's World Tennis Tour. From 1997 to 2018, it was part of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Challenger Tour. It is held annually in Kyoto, Japan, since 1997.

The Peugeot Slovak Open is a professional tennis tournament played on indoor hard courts. It is currently part of the Tretorn SERIE+ of Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Challenger Tour and ITF Women's Circuit. It is held at the Národné Tenisové Centrum in Bratislava, Slovakia, since 2000.

The Soweto Open was a professional tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts. It was part of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Challenger Tour and the ITF Women's tour as a $50,000+H event. It was held at the Arthur Ashe Tennis Centre in the Soweto urban area of Johannesburg, South Africa, from 2009 to 2011. The event was not held in 2012 and came back to the ITF Women's Circuit and the ATP Challenger Tour in 2013. In 2013 on the ITF Women's Circuit, the even was downgraded from a $100,000+H to $50,000+H.

The Taipei Open or Taipei WTA Challenger is a tournament for female professional tennis players played on indoor carpet courts. The event is currently classified as an WTA 125K tournament. It has been held annually in November in Taipei City, Taiwan, from 2008 until 2015, and was sponsored by the OEC Group. In 2012, the event was upgraded from a $100,000 ITF tournament to a WTA Challenger tournament.
The Tampere Open is a professional tennis tournament played on clay courts. It is currently part of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Challenger Tour. It is held annually at the Tampere Tennis Center in Tampere, Finland, since 1982. There has been a women's future tournament for the last couple of years held at the same venue.

The Torneio Internacional de Tênis Campos do Jordão (previously known as the Credicard Citi MasterCard Tennis Cup) was a professional tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts. It was part of the International Tennis Federation (ITF) Women's Circuit and the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Challenger Tour. It was held annually at the Campos do Jordão Tênis Clube de Turismo in Campos do Jordão, Brazil, from 2001 to 2017.

The Torneo Internacional Challenger León is a professional tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts. It is currently part of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Challenger Tour and the International Tennis Federation (ITF) Women's Circuit. It is held annually in León, Mexico, since 2003.

The Torneo Internacional de Tenis Femenino "Conchita Martínez" – Trofeo Hinaco Monzón is a tournament for professional female tennis players played on outdoor hard courts. The event is classified as a $25,000 ITF Women's Circuit tournament. It has been held annually in Monzón, Spain, since 2003. The event was previously a $75,000 tournament from 2007 to 2010. The 2012 edition of the tournament was not held.

The Torneo Internazionale Regione Piemonte was a women's professional tennis tournament played on outdoor clay courts. The event was classified as an ITF $100,000 Tournament. It was held annually in Biella, Italy, from 2000 to 2012.

The Tyler Pro Classic (currently known as the Christus Health Pro Challenge for sponsorship purposes) is a tournament for professional female tennis players played on outdoor hard courts. The event is classified as a $80,000 ITF Women's Circuit tournament and has been held in Tyler, Texas, United States, since 2017.

The VanOpen, currently sponsored as Odlum Brown VanOpen, is a professional tennis tournament played on outdoor hardcourts. It is part of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Challenger Tour, and of the ITF Women's Circuit. It is held at Hollyburn Country Club in West Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The event was hosted continuously from 2002 to 2015, but returned in 2017 after a one-year hiatus.

The Winnipeg Challenger, currently sponsored as Winnipeg National Bank Challenger, is a professional tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts. It is currently part of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Challenger Tour and the ITF Women's Circuit. It has been held annually in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, since 2013 for women and since 2016 for men.

The Prague Open is a professional women's tennis tournament held in Prague, Czech Republic. It began in 2010, initially as an ITF Circuit $50,000 event upgraded to $100,000. Subsequently, from –onwards it became a WTA International tournament and the prize money increased to $250,000.

The Zagreb Open was a professional tennis tournament played on outdoor red clay courts. It was part of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Challenger Tour and the International Tennis Federation (ITF) Women's Circuit. It was held annually at the Sportski Park Mladost in Zagreb, Croatia, from 1996 to 2011.
