Ashi Productions Co., Ltd is a Japanese anime studio, located in Suginami, Tokyo, Japan, known for its four magical-girl anime, especially Magical Princess Minky Momo. It was established by Toshihiko Sato and other artists on December 20, 1975 as Ashi Productions. It changed its name from Ashi Productions to Production Reed Co., Ltd. ' on November 1, 2007. On February 12, 2019, the company changed its name back to Ashi Productions.

Ai City is a Japanese science fiction manga created by Shuuhou Itahashi , a.k.a. SYUFO. The story was later adapted into an anime film directed by Kōichi Mashimo and released on July 26, 1986.

All Purpose Cultural Cat Girl Nuku Nuku is a Japanese manga written and illustrated by Yuzo Takada. It was serialized in Weekly Manga Action for only three issues in 1991, with the three published stories later compiled in a single volume collection in December 1997. The story begins when genius inventor Kyusaku Natsume transplants the brain of a cat found by his son Ryunosuke on Christmas Eve, into a schoolgirl android that he created and subsequently stole from his former employer, Mishima Heavy Industries. The result, Nuku Nuku, is a nekomusume or cat girl. The manga was licensed by ADV Manga and published as a single volume on August 24, 2004.

Apocalypse Zero, known in Japan as Encouragement of Resolve , is a manga series written and illustrated by Takayuki Yamaguchi. It was serialized in Akita Shoten's Weekly Shōnen Champion from July 1994 to August 1996.

Beast Wars II: Lio Convoy in Imminent Danger! is a 1998 Japanese film based on the Beast Wars II: Super Life-Form Transformers anime series, a Japan-only spinoff of the Beast Wars television show. The film was never released outside Japan because Beast Wars II aired only in Japan, as a filler between dubbing the first and second seasons of Beast Wars. It was released as part of Beast Wars Special Super Lifeform Transformers, as one of three features within it. The others are Clash! Beast Warriors, which is a clip show that recaps the first season of Beast Wars and Beast Wars Metals which was the Japanese dubbed version of the Beast Wars season 2 episode; "Bad Spark". The entire special was distributed to Japanese theatres by Toei Company though Ashi Productions provided the animation for the Beast Wars II portion of the movie.

Blocker Gundan 4 Machine Blaster (ブロッカー軍団IVマシーンブラスター) is an anime series aired from 1976 to 1977 in Japan. There are 38 episodes aired at 25 minutes each. It is also known as "Blocker Army IV Machine Blaster", "Blocker Corps IV", "Blocker Army IV", "Blocker Corps", "Machine Blaster" and in Italian as "Astrorobot Contatto Ypsilon".

Blue Seed is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yuzo Takada. The plot is based on the Izumo cycle of Japanese mythology. The main character, Momiji Fujimiya, is a descendant of the mythical Princess Kushinada . When Japan is menaced by Aragami spawned by Yamata no Orochi, Momiji is intended to be sacrificed to appease the Aragami. She instead, however, becomes a member of the Terrestrial Administration Center (TAC), a secret agency charged with fighting them.

Cutie Honey Universe is a 2018 anime television series directed by Akitoshi Yokoyama at Production Reed. It is the fifth animated project based on Go Nagai's Cutie Honey manga franchise, celebrating the author's 50th anniversary as a manga artist. The series began airing in Japan in April 2018 and is licensed in North America by Sentai Filmworks.

Cyber Team in Akihabara is a 1998 Japanese anime television series created by Tsukasa Kotobuki and Satoru Akahori. It aired from April 4, 1998 to September 26, 1998 on TBS and ran for 26 episodes. It was released in the United States by ADV Films and was also broadcast on international networks such as Anime Network, AXN Asia, Locomotion. A 1-hour featured animation film of the series was subsequently released in Japan entitled Cyber Team in Akihabara: Summer Vacation of 2011 ; unlike the series the film was produced by Production I.G and Xebec. The show has an array of characters, many of whom are named after birds, gods, and real-myth villains.

Cybuster is a 26-episode anime produced by Bandai Visual, NAS, and TV Tokyo. It was animated by Ashi Productions and it aired in Japan between May 3, 1999, and October 25, 1999.

Dancouga - Super Beast Machine God is a Super Robot anime television series produced by Ashi Productions, directed by Seiji Okuda and written by Keisuke Fujikawa. It ran on TBS for 38 episodes from 5 April 1985 to 27 December 1985. The TV anime was licensed by Central Park Media under their Software Sculptors label in 1995, and was released on subtitled VHS. The series's license was later picked up by Discotek Media. After the series ended, four original video animations were released between 1986 and 1990. A sequel series, Dancouga Nova – Super God Beast Armor, aired in Japan in 2007.

F-Zero is a series of futuristic racing video games originally created by Nintendo EAD with multiple games developed by outside companies. The first game was released for the Super Famicom in Japan in 1990, and along with North America’s Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1991; its success prompted Nintendo to create multiple sequels on subsequent gaming consoles.

Flower Witch Mary Bell , or known as Magical Heroes in some countries, is a Japanese magical girl anime series by Ashi Productions, aired from 1992 until 1993. The series was adapted as a theatrical film and two educational films and the DVD version was released on March 20, 2004.

Futari Ecchi is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Katsu Aki. It has been serialized in Young Animal since 1997, with the chapters later combined into tankōbon volumes by Hakusensha, of which to date there are eighty-three. The series follows a newlywed couple in their mid-twenties, both virgins when they married, and chronicles their sexual explorations. The manga combines erotic elements with factual and informative statistics. Its title Futari Ecchi is a play on a slang term for masturbation, hitori ecchi. The series has 29.5 million copies in print and is most famous for being a how-to guide combined with a story.

GoShogun is a super robot anime series created by Takeshi Shudo. It was produced and aired in 1981 in Japan, with a movie special released in 1982 and a film sequel, GoShogun: The Time Étranger or Time Stranger, in 1985. Its title has been variously translated into English as "Demon God of the War-Torn Land GoShogun", "Warring Demon God GoShogun", and "Civil War Devil-God GoShogun," but in the US and parts of Europe it is primarily known as Macron 1, the title of its North American adaptation.

Idol Defense Force Hummingbird is a two-volume Japanese light novel series written by Hitoshi Yoshioka that tells the very offbeat tale of five idol singer/fighter pilot sisters. It was adapted into an anime series consisting of 4 OVA episodes that ran from 1993 to 1995.

Idol Densetsu Eriko is a Japanese anime series by Ashi Productions. It ran in Japan from 1989 until 1990, spanning 51 episodes. The story has been adapted into a 3-volume manga series by Ayumi Kawahara. The title character Eriko is based on real-life Japanese idol Eriko Tamura, who performs the opening theme song and the last episode's ending theme.

In Another World with My Smartphone is a Japanese light novel series written by Patora Fuyuhara and illustrated by Eiji Usatsuka. It began serialization online in 2013 on the user-generated novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō until it was acquired by Hobby Japan for publishing the print edition as a light novel. J-Novel Club has licensed the series for an English release, releasing each novel in six weekly parts since February 2017. A manga adaptation by Soto began its serialization in Kadokawa Shoten's Comp Ace in November 2016. The manga is licensed in English by Yen Press. An anime television series adaptation by Production Reed aired from July to September 2017. The anime series has been licensed by Crunchyroll.

Iria: Zeiram the Animation , stylized as I・Я・I・A ZЁIЯAM THE ANIMATION, is a six-episode original video animation (OVA) anime series produced by Ashi Productions and directed by Tetsurō Amino. The series serves as a prequel to the original live-action film Zeiram, taking place several years earlier when the female bounty hunter protagonist Iria is still a rookie and detailing the events surrounding her first encounter with the unstoppable Zeiram. This does somewhat contradict the films, which imply that Iria's first encounter with Zeiram was in the first film.

Ironfist Chinmi is a Japanese manga series written by Takeshi Maekawa. It was published by Kodansha in Monthly Shōnen Magazine from 1983 to 1997 and collected in 35 tankōbon volumes. It is centered on the story of a boy called Chinmi who learns Kung Fu by fighting progressively more challenging foes.

Jewel BEM Hunter Lime is a Japanese PC game released in 1993. It was adapted to a 3-episode OVA released between 1996 and 1997. The OVAs were initially licensed by Media Blasters. It is currently licensed by Sentai Filmworks.

Josephina the Whale is a Japanese anime television series consisting of 24 episodes. It was directed by Kunihiko Yuyama and Yoshikata Nitta; it was first broadcast on Tokyo Channel 12 in 1979.

Knights of Ramune is a Japanese original video animation series that follows the adventures of Cacao and Parfait, holy virgins, in their search and rescue mission of the 4th Warrior Ramunes, given to them by the apparent head of their religious order, Master Follower. They are joined in these adventures by Lemon, a twelve-year-old girl, and PQ, a hand-sized blob with a face that is an expert on spiritual topics. The OAV is known as VS Knight Lamune and 40 Fresh (VS騎士ラムネ&40FRESH) in Japan, and is a sequel to VS Knight Ramune & 40 Fire, an anime television series; it was released in the U.S. by Software Sculptors and Central Park Media.

Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos , known in France as La Revanche des GoBots, is a Japanese anime television series produced by Ashi Productions. It ran on TV Tokyo from July 3, 1986, through May 28, 1987.

Macross 7 is an anime television series. It is a sequel to the show The Super Dimension Fortress Macross that takes place many years after the events of the first series following a cast of mostly new characters. The show ran from October 16, 1994 to September 24, 1995 at 11:00 a.m., and 49 episodes were aired. Although it has been distributed in the other parts of the world, at present it has not been licensed in North America.

Magical Angel Sweet Mint is a magical girl anime TV series produced by Ashi Productions and aired from 2 May 1990 to 27 March 1991 on TV Tokyo.

Magical Princess Minky Momo is a Japanese magical-girl anime franchise by Ashi Productions. The original series ran between 1982 and 1983 on TV Tokyo and inspired three OVAs between 1985 and 1987. A second television series, titled Magical Princess Minky Momo: Hold on to Your Dreams , ran on NTV between 1991 and 1992, and like the original, it spawned home video follow-ups. A third Momo series began in 2004, this time as a manga known as Miracle Dream Minky Momo in Shogakukan's Shōgaku Ninensei magazine.

Mega Man is an animated television series co-produced by Ruby-Spears Productions and Ashi Productions. It is based on the video game series of the same name by Capcom. The TV series began on September 11, 1994 and ended on January 19, 1996. Two seasons were produced with a third season planned, but the show was cancelled due to budget constraints.

Mega Man: Upon a Star, known in Japan as Rockman: Hoshi ni Negai o , is a Japanese anime original video animation (OVA) series based on the popular Capcom video game franchise Mega Man, produced by Universal Multimedia Entertainment, Capcom and Ashi Productions. The OVA was presented by the Japan Center for Intercultural Communications, and acts as a series of educational shorts on the culture of Japan. The episodes were produced circa 1993-1994, and would not be released to home media until a Japanese DVD release by Capcom on September 20, 2002, followed by a release in North America by ADV Films on January 4, 2005, although the order of episodes 1 and 2 from the Japanese release was switched for this release. It loosely adapts the events of Mega Man 5 along with original story elements.

Onsen Yōsei Hakone-chan is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Daisuke Yui. It began serialization online via Flex Comix's Comic Meteor website in 2012 and has since been collected into two tankōbon volumes. An anime television series adaptation by Asahi Production and Production Reed aired from October to December 2015.

Rainbow Days is a Japanese shōjo manga series written and illustrated by Minami Mizuno, and published in Shueisha's Bessatsu Margaret magazine. A drama CD was released with the seventh volume of the manga in October 2014. A 24-episode anime adaptation produced by Production Reed aired between January and June 2016. A live-action film was released in 2018.

Space Warrior Baldios is a 1980 Japanese super robot mecha anime series. A film with the same title was released on December 19, 1981.

Special Armored Battalion Dorvack is a 36 episode anime series aired from 1983 to 1984 in Japan and also aired in Hong Kong at roughly the same time. Other loosely translated names include "Dorvack", "Dolbuk", "Special Powered Armor Troop Dorvack", "Special Machine Army Dorvack", "Machine Corps Dorvack", "Armored Trooper Dorvack", "Tokusou Kihei Dorvack", "Comando Dolbuck" (Brazil), and "Dolbuk, Defensores de la Tierra".

Super Life-Form Transformers: Beast Wars Neo is a 1999 Japanese Transformers television animated series and toy line, and a sequel to Beast Wars II. It was produced by NAS, TV Tokyo, and Ashi Productions. Hozumi Gōda reprised his role as Lio Convoy from Beast Wars II whenever he appeared in this series. Each episode runs for 30 minutes and it was broadcast in standard 4:3 as this was aired in 1999.

Time Travel Tondekeman is an anime series directed by Kunihiko Yuyama and Akira Sugino. It was written by Junki Takegami and produced by Animax network president Masao Takiyama. Logo Cake Entertainment It was originally broadcast by Fuji Television in Japan between 19 October 1989 and 26 August 1990. Time Quest, as it was called outside Japan, was first aired in the Philippines in 1994 on IBC. It was reaired on ABC in 2000 and GMA Network in 2015. It also was aired in Indosiar, Indonesia during 1995, and it was rerun in Space Toon Indonesia since the year 2008.

Ultra Maniac is a manga series written by Wataru Yoshizumi. The romantic comedy series features 7th grader Ayu Tateishi, a tennis club member, and her transfer student friend, Nina Sakura, who is actually a trainee witch from the magical kingdom. It premiered in Shueisha's Ribon manga magazine in February 2001 and ran until January 2004. It was also published in five collected volumes by Shueisha. Viz Media licensed and released an English translation of the series in North America.

Ultraman: The Adventure Begins is a 1987 American-Japanese animated superhero film jointly produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions and Tsuburaya Productions and animated by both Studio Sign and Ashi Productions. It is the second foreign Ultra Series production overall, and the second foreign Ultraman film after The 6 Ultra Brothers vs. the Monster Army. Originally intended as a pilot for an animated series, no such series ever emerged and the pilot was made into a full-length film. It was released in theaters in the United States on October 12, 1987, with a Japanese theatrical release following on April 28, 1989. The costumes based on the three main heroes were made for use in stage shows in Japan.

Vampire Hunter D is a 1985 Japanese fantasy horror OVA film produced by Ashi Productions, in association with Epic/Sony Records, CBS Sony Group Inc. and Movic. The screenplay is based on the first in the long-running series of light novels written by Hideyuki Kikuchi.

Violence Jack is a Japanese manga, co-written and co-illustrated by Go Nagai since 1973, all the way to 2008. It has had several serializations and one-shot stories which have run in the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s and 2000s. Most of the stories have been compiled in around 45 tankōbon while a few of them have been published as special tankōbon or have yet to be published in that format. Violence Jack is credited with creating the post-apocalyptic manga and anime genre.

Zukkoke Knight - Don De La Mancha is a Japanese anime television series based on Miguel de Cervantes' Don Quixote. The 23-episode series was directed by Kunihiko Yuyama and was first broadcast on Tokyo Channel 12 in 1980.
