The half-hour programme was first screened on TV One in 2005 and the second series was shown on Prime Television in April 2007. No other seasons were produced. The show was presented by Roger Walker, Danny Mulheron and Aaron Slight. It was described by binglewootch.com as provocative, humorous and light-hearted in tone.

Ajoneuvos is a 2006 Finnish driving television series broadcast in Finland on MTV3 since March 18, 2006. The series is presented by Jussi Halli.

America's Worst Driver is an American reality television program on Travel Channel, based on the television series Britain's Worst Driver and Canada's Worst Driver, part of the Worst Driver television franchise. Hosted by Alonzo Bodden and Jill Simonian, contestants from eight different cities compete to not be named the worst driver in their respective cities, because the contestants who are named the worst driver in their city has their car destroyed, while everyone else wins prizes ranging from free oil changes to a trip for two to Florida. All contestants are enrolled in a Driver's Education class in their respective cities regardless of what happens in the series. In the two-part finale, the eight worst drivers meet up in Los Angeles to show who is the most improved, with each driver winning a new car, while the driver who hasn't improved is named America's Worst Driver. Matt Conn of San Francisco was named as such and had a car representing him torn apart by Robosaurus.

American Hot Rod is a reality television series that originally aired between 2004 and 2007 on The Learning Channel and Discovery Channel. The series followed renowned car designer Boyd Coddington and his crew as they built hot rods and custom vehicles at his wheel and car shop in La Habra, California. The show was known for its frequent rows and bust ups, and a high staff turnover rate. Some crew members went to work for Overhaulin's Chip Foose, a former partner of Coddington's, for a more relaxed environment; even Boyd's own son could not work there for long.

Battle of the Supercars was a weekly motorsports television show. Hosted by Lee Reherman, it featured professional race drivers Tanner Foust and Paul Tracy putting supercars in head to head competition with one another.

Counting Cars is an American reality television series, shown on History, and produced by Leftfield Pictures. The series, which is the third spinoff of Pawn Stars, is filmed in Las Vegas, Nevada, where it chronicles the daily activities at Count's Kustoms, an automobile restoration and customization company owned and operated by legendary Danny Koker a.k.a. The Count, who previously appeared as a recurring expert on Pawn Stars. In a format similar to another Pawn Stars spinoff, American Restoration, the series follows Koker and his staff as they restore and modify classic automobiles and motorcycles. Counting Cars debuted on August 13, 2012. Rick, Corey, and Richard Benjamin Harrison, and Austin "Chumlee" Russell of Pawn Stars, have made crossover guest appearances on the show, as have celebrities including Ziggy Marley, Cassandra Peterson, aka, "Elvira, Mistress of the Dark", Dee Snider, and Alice Cooper.

Driven is a motoring television programme launched by Channel 4 in 1998 as a rival to the successful and long-running BBC series Top Gear.

Family Trade is an American reality television series broadcast by Game Show Network (GSN). The show premiered on March 12, 2013, its eighth and final episode aired on April 16, 2013. Filmed in Middlebury, Vermont, the series chronicles the daily activities of G. Stone Motors, a GMC and Ford car dealership that employs the barter system in selling its automobiles. The business is operated by its founder, Gardner Stone, his son and daughter, Todd and Darcy, and General Manager Travis Romano. The series features the shop's daily interaction with its customers, who bring in a variety of items that can be resold in order to receive a down payment on the vehicle they are leasing or purchasing. Commentary and narration are provided by the Stone family and Romano during the episodes.

For the Love of Cars is a one-hour automotive show first broadcast in 2014 on Channel 4 in the United Kingdom. It is meant to show the character of quintessentially British and European cars through both the engineering and the social side of the car.

Jeremy Clarkson's Extreme Machines was a six-part documentary series, originally broadcast on BBC Two in 1998. The series focused on presenter Jeremy Clarkson, testing out a series of cars, jet planes and powerboats.

The show was presented by Jeremy Clarkson and consisted of two series of six episodes each plus a special focusing on the UK. Each episode focused on a different country or region. The series was first shown in the UK on BBC Two in 1995, and was subsequently shown to an international audience on BBC World. It has also been repeated on Dave. The Best Of Jeremy Clarkson's Motorworld, a video containing 70 minutes of highlights from the series was released on 7 October 1996. The video was later released on DVD as part of The Jeremy Clarkson Collection in 2007. There was also a book written by Clarkson based on the series. Clarkson described the series as: "From the sports cars of the wealthy in Monaco to the 1950s Morris Oxfords that still rule the roads in India, this is a lighthearted look at the culture of the car in 12 countries. His travels include visits to Italy, home of the Ferrari - a steel deity, sex on wheels"; Japan, where he has a brush with the local Mercedes-driving mafia; and Iceland, where he takes his life in his hands and hurtles around the most dangerous off-the-road course in the world in a customized 4WD jeep.

Misfit Garage is a Discovery Channel reality-television show spun off from Fast N' Loud. It features two of the mechanics fired from that show's Dallas, Texas-based Gas Monkey Garage, Tom Smith and Jordan Butler, as well as Thomas Weeks and Scot McMillan, who together start a new company, Fired Up Garage. The program debuted on 7 June 1987 hosted by its creator Ray Butch Gamboa and race car driver Pocholo Ramirez. and later in 2019, Ray Louis Gamboa and Suzy Gamboa replaced their father as the hosts. The program reports about the latest news and recent developments in the local and global motoring industry as well as current events in the local and international motorsports. It also showcases the latest cars available in the Philippine market and tackles various issues affecting the Philippine motoring public. The program has a counterpart weekly column, penned by Gamboa, in the daily newspaper The Philippine STAR.

The subject matter presented includes tests of cars currently on the market, along with tips on maintenance and previews of cars to come. The program is produced by Maryland Public Television for PBS and also airs on the commercial station MAVTV, which is owned by show underwriter Lucas Oil. As of 2021, MotorWeek is also sponsored by Tire Rack and Rock Auto, two businesses dealing with selling motor parts and accessories over the Internet.

My Mother the Car is an American fantasy sitcom that aired for a single season on NBC between September 14, 1965, and April 5, 1966. Thirty episodes were produced by United Artists Television. The premise features a man whose deceased mother is reincarnated as an antique car, and she communicates with him through the car radio.

NASCAR Angels was an American syndicated half-hour television series which aired in syndication in various markets. It was hosted by Shannon Wiseman and former NASCAR Cup Series Champion Rusty Wallace. The purpose for the show was to help those who help others by repairing their worn out vehicles with a small twist: the NASCAR Angels Dream Team only has three days to get the vehicle repaired. The show has been described as "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition meets Pimp My Ride - NASCAR Style". Partnering with the show were Goodyear and Gemini Auto Repair Service.

NASCAR RaceDay is an American pre-race television show on Fox Sports 1 that precedes all NASCAR Cup Series race broadcasts. Part of the Fox NASCAR series, the show previously aired on Fox Sports Net and Speed. It also starred Jimmy Spencer, Michael Waltrip, Kenny Wallace, Wendy Venturini and Bob Dillner, and analyzed the day's event with highlights, post-race interviews and interaction with the winning driver and crew chief. After the 2017 season the show was discontinued.

Pimp My Ride is an American television series produced by MTV and hosted by rapper Xzibit, which ran on MTV for six seasons from 2004 to 2007. Each episode consists of taking one car in poor condition and restoring it, as well as customizing it. The restoration and customizing were done by West Coast Customs for the first four seasons, then Galpin Auto Sports for seasons 5–6.

Pinks is the primary television series in a franchise series of television programs on Speed based on street racing, held at legal closed drag strips with a theme around drag racing. The original aired from 2005 to 2008, with the spinoff Pinks: All Out following in 2006 until 2010. The name of the show, and the tagline "Lose the race – lose your ride", refer to common slang of pink slips representing a vehicle's title document recording ownership, and the derivative street-racing phrase, "racing for pinks," meaning a race in which the winner earns the loser's car.

The Team: A Season With McLaren is a 7-part TV series produced by John Gau Productions for the BBC during the 1993 Formula One season and first transmitted on BBC2 between 12 November and 24 December 1993. The series followed the team and regular drivers Ayrton Senna and Michael Andretti, as well as test driver Mika Häkkinen, giving a behind-the-scenes insight to the McLaren team.

It was hosted by former racing driver Neil Crompton and featured former drivers Mark Skaife and Mark Larkham as analysts. Each episode featured previews or reviews of events, as well as interviews with drivers and features on teams.

Victory by Design is a series of documentary films produced in the 1990s and 2000s on the subject of famous racing automobile marques. The series began as a single film focused on Porsche, directed by award-winning film-maker Tony Maylam, executive produced by Clive Pullan and hosted by former racing driver Alain de Cadenet. Further episodes - beginning with an episode on Ferrari were commissioned by American cable channel Speedvision who brought in Martin Stockham to produce the new programs.

Wheeler Dealers is a British television series originally produced by Attaboy TV for the Discovery Channel in the UK and for Motor Trend in the U.S. The programme is fronted by car enthusiast and former dealer Mike Brewer. Edd China was the mechanic of the programme from Series 1-13 from 2003-2017. He was replaced by Ant Anstead from Series 14-16 from 2017-2021. Former Formula One mechanic Marc "Elvis" Priestley took over in 2021 ahead of series 17.

Wrecked: Life in the Crash Lane was an American reality television series that was produced by NorthSouth Productions for the Speed Channel. The show followed the O'Hare Towing Service's owners and tow truck operators, focusing primarily on vehicle recoveries throughout the Chicago metropolitan area. The show focuses on O'Hare's heavy-duty, 25–60-ton tow trucks, performing recoveries on semi-trailer trucks and other large vehicles. Speed ceased being available to most American viewers as a standalone network with its own original programming on August 17, 2013, when it was replaced by the general-interest sports network Fox Sports 1.

Xtreme 4x4 is a half hour series airing on Spike TV that began in January 2005 as part of Spike's weekend Powerblock line up. The show uses a how-to format, where the hosts build or modify vehicles in order to turn them into off-road-oriented rigs. They also periodically show various forms of off-road racing from across the United States. These include such events as rock crawling, desert racing, sand drags, mud racing, and trail riding adventures.
