It was a monthly serialized super robot manga continuing the Getter Robo mythos by way of the titular Getter Robo Hien. A total of 15 chapters were published the 28th of every month in Magna, a low-resolution free webcomic, only to be printed in higher quality in tankōbon volumes collecting five chapters each.

Originally published in Ichijinsha's yuri manga magazine Comic Yuri Hime S under the name Konohana-tei Kitan (此花亭奇譚) between 2009 and 2010 before going on hiatus, the series relaunched in Gentosha's seinen manga magazine Comic Birz in December 2014. The manga is licensed in English by Tokyopop. A 12-episode anime television series adaptation by Lerche aired in Japan between October and December 2017.

Lament of the Lamb , alternatively titled The Lament of a Lamb or Sheep's Song, is a Japanese horror manga series written and illustrated by Kei Toume. It follows Kazuna, a boy with a mysterious illness which turns out to be vampirism. It was adapted into a live action film in 2002 directed by Junji Hanado, a three-part Drama CD in 2002-03, and an anime OVA series in 2003–04.

Neo Gōmanism Manifesto Special - On War is a controversial series of manga written by right-wing Japanese manga artist Yoshinori Kobayashi. It was published in a series of three volumes by Gentosha as a supplement to the Neo Gōmanism series serialized in SAPIO magazine from September 1995 onwards. There are currently no plans to translate these books into English or any other languages. The series has been criticized by numerous people and groups for "rewriting history", including intellectuals Satoshi Uesugi, Shinji Miyadai and Takaaki Yoshimoto, The Academy of Outrageous Books, and extending even to the overseas media in newspapers such as The New York Times and Le Monde. A verbal dispute over the manga's contents with Sōichirō Tahara has been published in a book called The On War War .

Nokemono to Hanayome is a Japanese serial novel and manga written by Kunihiko Ikuhara. The serial novel was published in the teenage fashion magazine Kera from 2006 to 2007 as "Part 1", while a manga written by Ikuhara and illustrated Asumiko Nakamura was published from 2007 to 2017 as "Part 2". A sequel manga series, Nokemono to Hanayome+, was serialized on the digital distribution platform Comic Boost from 2018 to 2020.

A manga adaptation of the anime by Isuzu Shibata began serialization in Comic Birz on May 30, 2013 and ended on January 30, 2017. A two-part compilation film titled Re:cycle of Penguindrum is set to premiere in 2022, with the first part premiering in April 29, 2022.

Red Garden is a Japanese anime television series produced by Gonzo which premiered in Japan on TV Asahi on October 3, 2006. The plot revolves around four girls who become involved in a series of supernatural murders happening throughout the vicinity of a fictional depiction of New York City. An OVA sequel called Dead Girls was released in Japan, on August 8, 2007.

Reincarnated as a Sword, also known as I Became the Sword by Transmigrating , also known as Tenken (転剣), is a Japanese light novel series written by Yuu Tanaka and illustrated by Llo. It started as a web novel on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in October 2015. It was later published as a light novel by Micro Magazine, who released the first volume in July 2016. The series has received a manga adaptation by Tomowo Maruyama, published by Gentosha, as well as a spin-off manga by Hinako Inoue, published by Micro Magazine. Both the light novels and manga were licensed for North American release by Seven Seas Entertainment, as well as the spin-off. An anime television series adaptation has been announced.

Rozen Maiden is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Peach-Pit. It was serialized in Monthly Comic Birz between the September 2002 and July 2007 issues. The individual chapters were collected and released into eight tankōbon volumes by Gentosha. The eight volumes were localized to North America by Tokyopop between March 2003 and June 2007. The story follows Jun Sakurada, a middle school student who withdrew from society after suffering persecutions from his classmates. Following his withdrawal, he is chosen to become the master to a Rozen Maiden named Shinku. Rozen Maidens are seven sentient porcelain dolls who compete against each other to become a perfect doll dubbed as Alice.

Sarazanmai is a 2019 Japanese anime television series created by Kunihiko Ikuhara and jointly produced by MAPPA and Lapin Track. The series aired on Fuji TV's Noitamina programming block from April 11 to June 20, 2019 for eleven episodes, and follows three middle school students who are transformed into kappas in order to collect shirikodama, mythical balls located in the anus that contains the physical manifestation of one's desires; Ikuhara broadly developed the series as a story about yōkai for an adult audience.

Subete ga F ni Naru is a Japanese 1996 mystery novel by Hiroshi Mori. It has been adapted into a manga, a visual novel, and a live action drama. An anime television series adaptation produced by A-1 Pictures premiered in Japan on October 8, 2015.

The Sword of Shibito is a manga series written by Hideyuki Kikuchi and illustrated by Missile Kakurai . It was serialized in the Japanese seinen manga magazine Comic Birz from 1998 until 2002. The Sword of Shibito was also licensed in English by Central Park Media and in French by 12 Bis.

Tokyo Red Hood is a Japanese manga written and illustrated by Benkyo Tamaoki. Its serialization began in the monthly Comic BIRZ in 2003. The manga is popular for its over-the-top gore and violence, and for the young main character and the different sex acts she partakes in.

Yarichin Bitch Club is a Japanese web manga series written and illustrated by Ogeretsu Tanaka. Yarichin Bitch Club has been self-published on Pixiv since 2012, and in 2016, it later received a print publication by Gentosha.

Yurikuma Arashi is a Japanese yuri anime television series produced by Silver Link and directed by Kunihiko Ikuhara. The series was first announced via a website in August 2012, where it was referred to as the "Kunihiko Ikuhara/Penguinbear Project." The series first aired in Japan between January 5, 2015 and March 30, 2015 and is licensed in North America by Funimation. A manga adaptation illustrated by Akiko Morishima was serialized in Gentosha's Comic Birz magazine between February 2014 and April 2016 and has been licensed in English by Tokyopop under the title Yuri Bear Storm. The name appears to be a reference to Akira Yoshimura's novelization of the Sankebetsu brown bear incident, The Bear Storm , though any more concrete link besides the presence of human-attacking bears is only speculated.
