W20 Seiki Denki Mokuroku is a Japanese light novel written by Hiro Yūki and illustrated by Kazumi Ikeda, with art and backgrounds by Momoka Nagatani. The novel won an honorable mention in the full-length novel category at the 8th Kyoto Animation Awards in 2017, and was the only series to win an award that year. Kyoto Animation published the novel under their KA Esuma Bunko imprint on August 10, 2018 (ISBN 978-4-907064-88-4). On July 27, 2018, KA Esuma Bunko's Twitter account announced that an anime adaptation of the novel would be produced, and would be animated by Kyoto Animation, but the project's status is currently unknown following the Kyoto Animation arson attack which destroyed the main production office.
WAir is a Japanese adult visual novel developed by Key and released on September 8, 2000, for Windows PCs. Key later released versions of Air without the erotic content, and the game was ported to the Dreamcast, PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, PlayStation Vita and Nintendo Switch. The story follows the life of Yukito Kunisaki, a traveling showman searching for the "girl in the sky". He arrives in a quiet, seaside town where he meets three girls, one of whom is the key to the end of his journey.
WAmagi Brilliant Park is a Japanese light novel series written by Shoji Gatoh and illustrated by Yuka Nakajima. Fujimi Shobo has published eight volumes since February 20, 2013, under their Fujimi Fantasia Bunko imprint. J-Novel Club has licensed the series for an English release, with the first volume released digitally on September 9, 2018. There are three manga adaptations published by Fujimi Shobo and Kadokawa. A 13-episode anime television series adaptation by Kyoto Animation aired in Japan between October 6 and December 25, 2014.
WThe Kyoto Animation arson attack occurred at Kyoto Animation's Studio 1 building in the Fushimi ward of Kyoto, Japan, on the morning of Thursday, 18 July 2019. The arson killed 36 people, injured an additional 34, and destroyed most of the materials and computers in Studio 1. It is one of the deadliest massacres in Japan since the end of World War II, the deadliest building fire in Japan since the 2001 Myojo 56 building fire, and the first massacre ever to have occurred at a studio associated with an entertainment company.

WClannad is a Japanese visual novel developed by Key and released on April 28, 2004 for Windows. While both of Key's first two previous works, Kanon and Air, had been released first as adult games and then censored for the younger market, Clannad was released with a rating for all ages. It was later ported to the PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch consoles. An English version for Windows was released on Steam by Sekai Project in 2015.
WThe Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya is a 2010 Japanese animated drama film based on the fourth Haruhi Suzumiya light novel of the same name written by Nagaru Tanigawa. It was produced by Kyoto Animation, written by Fumihiko Shimo and directed by Tatsuya Ishihara and Yasuhiro Takemoto. It was released in Japanese theaters on February 6, 2010 and on DVD and Blu-ray Disc on December 18, 2010. The film has been licensed by Bandai Entertainment in North America and Manga Entertainment in the UK. With a length of 162 minutes, the film was the second-longest animated film at the time of its release.
WFree! is a Japanese anime television series produced by Kyoto Animation and Animation Do. The series is loosely based on the light novel, High Speed! , written by Kōji Ōji, which received an honorable mention in the second Kyoto Animation Award contest in 2011 and was published in July 2013. The first season titled, Free! - Iwatobi Swim Club for international distribution, aired in Japan in 2013; and the second season titled, Free! - Eternal Summer, aired in 2014. A third season of the anime series titled, Free! - Dive to the Future, aired in 2018. Hiroko Utsumi directed the first two seasons, while season three was directed by Eisaku Kawanami.

WK-On! is a Japanese four-panel manga series written and illustrated by Kakifly. It was serialized in Houbunsha's Manga Time Kirara magazine between the May 2007 and October 2010 issues. It was also serialized in Houbunsha's Manga Time Kirara Carat magazine. The manga relaunched from April 2011 to June 2012 with two separate storylines published in Manga Time Kirara and Manga Time Kirara Carat. The manga is licensed in North America by Yen Press. A spin-off manga about a different band of high school girls, K-On! Shuffle, began serialization in July 2018.

The story follows the life of Yuichi Aizawa, a high school student who returns to a city he last visited seven years prior, and he has little recollection of the events from back then. He meets several girls and slowly regains his lost memories. The gameplay in Kanon follows a branching plot line which offers pre-determined scenarios with courses of interaction, and focuses on the appeal of the five female main characters by the player character. The game once ranked as the second best-selling PC game sold in Japan, and charted in the national top 50 several more times afterwards. Kanon has sold over 300,000 units across several platforms.
WLiz and the Blue Bird is a 2018 Japanese animated drama film directed by Naoko Yamada and written by Reiko Yoshida, based on the Sound! Euphonium novel series written by Ayano Takeda. Based on the 2017 novel Hibike! Yūfoniamu Kitauji Kōkō Suisōgaku-bu, Haran no Dainigakushō Kōhen, the film is a spin-off sequel to the Sound! Euphonium television series, focusing on supporting characters Mizore Yoroizuka and Nozomi Kasaki.

The series follows a high school boy named Yūta Togashi, who tries to discard his embarrassing past grandiose delusions, until he meets a girl named Rikka Takanashi, who exhibits her own signs of chūnibyō syndrome. As their relationship progresses, Yūta and Rikka form a club called the Far East Magical Napping Society Summer Thereof with classmates Shinka Nibutani, Kumin Tsuyuri and Sanae Dekomori, who each have their own unique delusional behaviors.

A manga adaptation of the TV series illustrated by Makoto 2-gō began serialization in the May 2009 issue of Kadokawa Shoten's Comp Ace magazine. An animated film named Tenjōbito to Akutobito Saigo no Tatakai was released on April 18, 2009.

Produced by Kyoto Animation, the film is directed by Haruka Fujita from a script written by Takaaki Suzuki and Tatsuhiko Urahata, and stars Yui Ishikawa, Minako Kotobuki, Aoi Yūki, Takehito Koyasu, Kouki Uchiyama, and Aya Endo. In the film, Violet Evergarden arrives at a private women's academy to tutor the daughter of the York noble family named Isabella.
