He played for the team in the 2006 FIBA World Championship and the FIBA Asia Championship 2007 and FIBA Asia Championship 2009.

Isaac Butts IV is an American professional basketball player and podcast host who currently plays for Koshigaya Alphas of the Japanese B-League. Isaac played high school basketball at Georgia Military College Prep School until 2007. He averaged 26 PPG and 17 RPG during his senior year. Upon high school graduation, he received a scholarship to attend Appalachian State University. Once he completed his collegiate career at Appalachian State, he was invited to participate in the Orlando Magic Summer League. In 2021, he and co-host Max Matsumoto created the IKEMAX Podcast where Japanese B-League basketball players discuss their experiences.

Jason Maurice Capel is an American college basketball coach, currently an assistant at Pittsburgh. He was previously the 15th head coach of the Appalachian State Mountaineers men's basketball team. He is a former basketball player for the North Carolina Tar Heels, and is the brother of Jeff Capel, former Duke University basketball player and current University of Pittsburgh head coach. Capel provided color commentary for ACC basketball games on Raycom Sports during the 2007–2008 college basketball season. As of January 2018, he was a commentator for Bein Sports. He is a member of the Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity. He is married to his college sweetheart Ashley Heath, also a graduate of UNC.

Takuya Kawamura is a Japanese professional basketball guard currently signed to the SeaHorses Mikawa. In 2005, he skipped college and started playing professional basketball, following Kazuo Nakamura's advice. In 2009, he decided to leave the Japan Basketball League and try to earn a contract in the NBA. In the 2009 NBA Summer League, the Phoenix Suns added Kawamura to their roster. He has been dubbed "Offence Machine" and very talkative as he had a radio show on Tochigi's Radio Berry FM.

Keijuro Matsui is a former guard for the Columbia Lions basketball team at Columbia University. He is the first Japanese native basketball player in NCAA Division I history. Matsui also played in the 2005 Nike Hoop Summit for the World Select Team, only the second Japanese to do so. In the summit he scored seven points in 11 minutes.
