WAkagi: Yami ni Oritatta Tensai is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Nobuyuki Fukumoto. First published in 1991 in Takeshobo's weekly magazine Kindai Mahjong, it is a spin-off prequel of the author's previous work, Ten. It revolves around Shigeru Akagi, a boy who defeats yakuza members well versed in mahjong at 13. He returns to the game six years later, carrying a mythical status and still impresses his opponents.

WChicago is a Japanese near-future action manga series written and illustrated by Yumi Tamura. It was serialized in Shogakukan's Bessatsu Shōjo Comic magazine from the November 2000 issue to the May 2001 issue. Shogakukan collected the individual chapters into two bound volumes published under the Flower Comics imprint. Viz Media licensed the manga for an English-language release in North America, first serialized in Animerica Extra magazine and later published in graphic novel format.

The title of the manga comes from Charles Baudelaire's Les Fleurs du Mal.
WThe Garden of Sinners, known in Japan as Kara no Kyoukai sometimes referred to as Rakkyo (らっきょ), is a Japanese light novel series, written by Kinoko Nasu and illustrated by Takashi Takeuchi. Originally released as a series of chapters released independently online or at Comiket between October 1998 and August 1999, the chapters were later republished by Kodansha into two volumes in 2004, and again in three volumes between 2007 and 2008. Ufotable produced a series of seven anime films based on the series between 2007 and 2009 and also produced an original video animation episode in 2011. A final anime film was produced and released in 2013. A manga adaptation illustrated by Sphere Tenku started serialization in September 2010 in Seikaisha's online magazine Saizensen.

WMonogatari is a Japanese light novel series written by Nisio Isin and illustrated by Vofan. The plot centers on Koyomi Araragi, a third-year high school student who survives a vampire attack and finds himself helping girls involved with a variety of apparitions, deities, ghosts, beasts, spirits, and other supernatural phenomena, which often serve as proxies for their emotional and mental issues. Between November 2006 and August 2021, Kodansha published 28 volumes in the series under its Kodansha Box imprint. All of the series' story arcs share the common title suffix -monogatari (物語).

Music for the series was composed by Shirō Sagisu.

WNight Head 2041 is a Japanese anime television series based on the 1992 Japanese television drama series Night Head. The series is animated by Shirogumi, directed by Takamitsu Hirakawa and written by George Iida, the director of the original drama. Original character designs are provided by Oh! great, while Kenichiro Tomiyasu is drawing the concept art. Yutaka Yamada is composing the series' music, and Slow Curve is credited for planning and production. It aired on Fuji TV's +Ultra programming block from July to September 2021. Who-ya Extended performed the series' opening theme song "Icy Ivy", while Myuk performed the series' ending theme song "Shion". Crunchyroll licensed the series.

WPenguindrum, known in Japan as Mawaru Penguindrum , is a 2011 Japanese anime series produced by Brain's Base. The series is written by Kunihiko Ikuhara and Takayo Ikami, was co-directed by Ikuhara along with Shouko Nakamura, and was broadcast in Japan from July 8, 2011 through December 23, 2011. Sentai Filmworks has licensed the series for North America, while Kazé UK has licensed the series in the United Kingdom, Siren Visual has licensed the series in Australia and New Zealand, and Dynit licensed the series in Italy. A manga adaptation of the anime by Isuzu Shibata began serialization in Comic Birz on May 30, 2013 and ended on January 30, 2017. A two-part compilation film titled Re:cycle of Penguindrum is set to premiere in 2022, with the first part premiering in April 29, 2022.

Platinum End is licensed by Viz Media in North America. An anime television series adaptation by Signal.MD premiered in October 2021.

The series aired on Fuji TV's Noitamina programming block from July 2 to September 17, 2015. The anime is inspired by the works of author Edogawa Ranpo and commemorates the 50th anniversary of his death in 1965.

An anime film adaptation emphasizing series volumes six and seven titled Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dreaming Girl premiered in June 2019.

WWelcome to the N.H.K. is a Japanese novel written by Tatsuhiko Takimoto. It was published by Kadokawa Shoten in Japan in January 2002, and in English by Tokyopop in October 2007. The story revolves around a 22-year-old hikikomori, an asocial recluse, who gets aid from a strange girl who seems to know a lot about him, despite never having met him before. Common themes throughout the story deal with depression, anxiety, isolation, existential dread, the hardships of life and how people must deal with them in their own way. The novel analyzes profusely the hikikomori phenomenon, which is relatively widespread in Japan.
