WActs of Worship is a 1965 short story collection by the Japanese writer Yukio Mishima. The title story is the tale of a Professor's visit to three Kumano shrines, accompanied by his shy and submissive middle-aged housekeeper, and his reasons for doing so. The collection was translated into English by John Bester.
WGingitsune is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Sayori Ochiai. The manga's story is about Makoto Saeki, the daughter of a shrine priest who can see the shrine's messenger, Gintaro. It follows the everyday lives of the two as a go-between for the gods and humans.
WHoshizora no Memoria: Wish Upon A Shooting Star is the fifth visual novel developed by Favorite. Before the game was released, a Prologue Trial Edition was released to the public on 27 February 2009; the standard version of the game was released on 27 March 2009. A fandisk titled Hoshizora no Memoria -Eternal Heart- which contained two extra routes was released on 29 January 2010; both the standard game and the fandisk were sold together in Hoshizora no Memoria Complete, released 26 November 2010. Sekai Project announced an English localization of the game, which was released on December 18, 2017 on Steam. A Sekai Project translation of Eternal Heart is in development, though as of May 2021, the translation is incomplete.

An anime television adaptation by Production IMS aired in Japan between January and March 2014.
WInuyasha is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Rumiko Takahashi. The series begins with Kagome Higurashi, a fifteen-year-old middle school girl from modern-day Tokyo who is transported to the Sengoku period after falling into a well in her family shrine, where she meets the half-dog demon, half-human Inuyasha. After the sacred Shikon Jewel re-emerges from deep inside Kagome's body, she accidentally shatters it into dozens of fragments that scatter across Japan. Inuyasha and Kagome set to recover the Jewel's fragments, and through their quest they are joined by the lecherous monk Miroku, the demon slayer Sango, and the fox demon Shippo. Together, they journey to restore the Shikon Jewel before it falls into the hands of the evil half-demon Naraku.
WKamichu! (かみちゅ!) is a Japanese anime television series, strongly influenced by Shinto, that follows the adventures of teenage goddess Yurie Hitotsubashi and her friends. The title is short for Kamisama de Chūgakusei . The series was created by Besame Mucho , which is the joint pen name of producer Tomonori Ochikoshi, director Koji Masunari, and writer Hideyuki Kurata. It was broadcast by the anime television network Animax on its respective networks worldwide, including Japan, East Asia, South Asia, Southeast Asia, where it received its first English-language broadcast.
WKamiko is an action video game developed by Skipmore and published by Flyhigh Works for the Nintendo Switch and released on April 13, 2017 in Japan and on April 27, 2017 in North America, Europe and Australasia. The game was released on Steam on June 26, 2019 and June 27, 2019 for the PS4 in Japan. The game received mixed to good reviews according to critics.

The series is licensed for regional release in North America by Viz Media as part of their Shojo Beat imprint. An anime adaptation has been produced by TMS Entertainment and directed by Akitaro Daichi and began airing in October 2012. It has been streamed by Funimation Entertainment in North America. A second season was announced and premiered during January 2015.
WKannagi: Crazy Shrine Maidens , is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Eri Takenashi. The manga was serialized in Ichijinsha's Comic Rex magazine from the January 2006 issue to the September 2017 issue. A 13-episode anime adaptation produced by A-1 Pictures aired between October and December 2008 in Japan. An original video animation (OVA) episode was released in May 2009. Bandai Entertainment licensed the manga and anime series, including the OVA.

WMaga-Tsuki (まがつき) is a shōnen manga series by Hoshino Taguchi, who got the idea for the story after visiting a shrine. The story follows Yasuke, who is about to confess his love to his childhood friend when he is cursed by accidentally breaking a mirror at his family's shrine. The curse causes him to be linked to the goddess of misfortune Orihime at all times or else he will die. He can only be revived by having her kiss him which among other things causes problems with his relationship with his childhood friend. Maga-Tsuki was first serialized in Monthly Shonen Sirius starting in April, 2011, and ran until February, 2017. The series was released in manga format in Japan that spanned thirteen volumes which were released by Kodansha. Outside of Japan, the manga was adapted into an English language format that is being released by Kodansha USA. Eight English language manga volumes have also been released with more announced through 2016. The English adaptation has received several reviews from critics.

WMirage of Blaze is a 49-volume Japanese light novel series written by Mizuna Kuwabara, published under Shueisha's Cobalt label. It was partially adapted into a 13-episode anime television series directed by Susumu Kudo in 2002 and an OVA directed by Fumie Muroi in 2004. Both were animated by Madhouse and produced by SME Visual Works. The anime television series and the OVAs have since been released in North America by Media Blasters, and both have aired on Encore Action and Encore WAM.

WOkko's Inn is a series of Japanese children's novels, written by Hiroko Reijō and illustrated by Asami. Kodansha released twenty volumes between 2003 and 2013 under the imprint of Aoi Tori Bunko. Set in modern-day Japan, Soukaigi follows a group of friends led by high school student Mizuho Mikanagi as they are chosen to save Japan from a supernatural catastrophe. Gameplay has each character navigating levels, fighting monsters and completing required tasks to advance the story.
