WBrynhildr in the Darkness is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Lynn Okamoto. It was serialized in Shueisha's seinen manga magazine Weekly Young Jump from January 2012 to March 2016. An anime television series adaptation by Arms aired between April and June 2014.
WElfen Lied is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Lynn Okamoto. It was originally serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump from June 2002 to August 2005, with the 107 chapters collected into twelve tankōbon volumes. Elfen Lied revolves around the interactions, views, emotions, and differences between human beings and the Diclonii, a mutant species similar to humans in build but distinguishable by two horns on their heads and "vectors", transparent telekinetically controlled arms that have the power to manipulate and cut objects within their reach. The series is centered on the teenage Diclonius girl "Lucy" who was rejected by human beings and subsequently wants revenge.
WGenshiken (げんしけん) is a Japanese manga series by Shimoku Kio about a college club for otaku and the lifestyle its members pursue. The title is a shortening of the club's official name, Gendai Shikaku Bunka Kenkyūkai (現代視覚文化研究会), or "The Society for the Study of Modern Visual Culture". The series has also been adapted into an anime directed by Tsutomu Mizushima. The manga originally ran in Kodansha's monthly manga anthology Afternoon from April 2002 to May 2006, and has been reprinted in nine bound volumes. The ninth and final volume was released in Japan in December 2006.
WHigh School Girls is a Japanese manga series, created by Towa Oshima, which was originally serialized in Futabasha's Weekly Manga Action magazine from 2001, and then subsequently Comic High! from 2004.
WHyakka Ryōran: Samurai Girls is a Japanese light novel series written by Akira Suzuki with illustrations by Niθ to commemorate Hobby Japan's 40th anniversary. The first volume was released by Hobby Japan on February 28, 2009, with 17 volumes currently available in Japan under their HJ Bunko imprint. There are currently three different manga adaptations based on the Hyakka Ryoran universe published. An online anthology comic was serialized on Hobby Japan's media website Hobby Channel from June 1, 2010, and sold two volumes as of June 2011; a manga adaptation illustrated by Junichi Iwasaki began serialization in the November 2010 issue of Monthly Comic Alive; and another manga adaptation by Tatara Yano began serialization in Hobby Japan's online manga magazine Comic Dangan on December 23, 2011. A spinoff manga called Hyakka Ryōran: Sengoku Maidens, illustrated by Yuri Shinano, was serialized in the March 2009 issue of Dengeki Daioh and ended in the March 2011 issue, and released three volumes as of March 2012.
WIkki Tousen , also known as Battle Vixens in North America, is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yuji Shiozaki. Loosely based on the classic 14th century Chinese novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms, the series revolves around an all-out turf war in the Kantō region of Japan where fighters known as Tōshi from seven schools battle for supremacy. The story centers on Hakufu Sonsaku, a fighter who transfers to Nanyo Academy, one of the seven schools involved in the turf war.
WI"s is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Masakazu Katsura. It follows Ichitaka Seto, a high school student who is in love with his classmate Iori Yoshizuki, but is too shy to tell her. Again and again he plans to tell her his true feelings, but each time something gets in the way. Things become even more complicated when Itsuki Akiba returns to Japan; she is a girl Ichitaka was friends with in their childhood before she moved to the United States, and who had a huge crush on him.

WKite, known as A Kite in Japan, is a Japanese original video animation written and directed by Yasuomi Umetsu. Two 35-minute episodes were released on VHS on February 25 and October 25, 1998 respectively. However, subsequent releases, including all three DVD releases in the United States, have edited the OVA into a film.
WKITE Liberator is a 2008 direct-to-video anime action science fiction film and second installment of the film series. It was directed and written by Yasuomi Umetsu, who previously directed the first film in the series. The film was released on March 21, 2008 on DVD and on November 25, 2014 on Blu-ray. Unlike the first installment of the film series, Kite Liberator does not include an extended cut, therefore, it is the first in the franchise not to include sexual scenes. It was licensed in North America by Cinedigm. A sequel Kite Armageddon is in consideration.
WMaoyū: Maō Yūsha , also known as Maoyu, or Archenemy and Hero in English, is a Japanese light novel series by Mamare Touno that was initially posted in a play format on the textboard 2channel in 2009. Enterbrain published five main novels in the series, in addition to three side-story novels between 2010 and 2012, selling over 450,000 copies in total. It has received several manga adaptations. A 12-episode anime adaptation by Arms aired in Japan from January 5 to March 30, 2013. The series follows the exploits of a human hero and the queen of demons who join forces to bring peace and prosperity to their war-torn world.
WMaster of Martial Hearts, originally titled Zettai Shougeki: Platonic Heart , is a 2008–2009 Japanese original video animation series created by Studio Kikan and Shochiku. It concerns a high school girl who gets involved in a series of fights against other young women with the Martial Heart as the prize; a jewel that can grant any wish. On January 7, 2010, Funimation Entertainment announced that they had licensed the OVA series in English. The series was released in North America on August 10, 2010.

WNaisho no Tsubomi is a Japanese slice of life romance shōjo manga series authored by Yū Yabūchi, and published by Shogakukan. 8 volumes were released in Japan, the last on April 27, 2012. An OVA anime for the series was released on April 24, 2008. A second OVA episode was released in June, 2008. The series received the 2009 Shogakukan Manga Award for children's manga. It was published in French by Delcourt. Sentai Filmworks released the OVA in North America in January 2018.
WNakoruru ~Ano hito kara no okurimono~ is an unfinished Japanese anime OVA series based on the video game of the same name which itself a spin-off from the Samurai Shodown series, released for DVD on May 25, 2002. The OVA is directed by Katsuma Kanazawa with character designs from Yasuomi Umetsu, best known for doing the designs in Mezzo Forte and Kite. It was first slated for 13 episodes, cut to two, but lacked funding to finish the second. As a result, it only has a single episode released. Like the game, it hasn't been licensed anywhere outside Japan.
WQueen's Blade is a Japanese series of visual combat books published by Hobby Japan inspired by the licensed works from Firelight Game Company's Lost Worlds. The overall plot of the game revolves around a tournament called the Queen's Blade, which is held once every four years to determine a Queen.

WWizard Barristers: Benmashi Cecil is an anime television series produced by Arms and directed by Yasuomi Umetsu. The series is a legal drama set in a world where ordinary humans co-exist with magic users, and magic users are represented in law by a subset of defense attorney (Bengoshi) called "wizard barristers" (Benmashi). The series follows Cecil Sudo, who has recently become the youngest wizard barrister in history. The series aired from January 12, 2014 to March 30, 2014.
