British Youth Music Theatre (BYMT), formerly Youth Music Theatre UK, is a UK-based national performing arts organisation founded in December 2003. BYMT provides music theatre training to young people aged 11–21 and a stepping stone to drama school or conservatoire. Members can join either through auditions in January and February onto productions or, without audition, onto summer camps. Most of its productions and summer camps are residential and situated around the UK with productions taking place in both regional and London theatres.
The A. Bryantsev Youth Theatre is one of the first professional children's theatres in Russia, opened in 1922. In Soviet time the theatre was called Leningrad Young People's Theatre. In 1962 it was moved to the current newly constructed building. The theatre is in Saint Petersburg, on the Pionerskaya Square near the end of Gorokhovaya Street.
The Egg is a theatre in Bath, built specifically for the use of young people. It was converted from a former cinema and church hall by architects Haworth Tompkins. The Grade II listed Victorian building houses the eponymous 'egg'-shaped auditorium, around which an arts cafe, rooftop rehearsal space and basement technical workshop are arranged. The idea was supported by the children's author Bel Mooney. It opened in October 2005. In 2007, the Peter Hall Company made use of the space in order to stage a production of George Orwell's Animal Farm.

Independent Youth Theatre is a platform for youth performance in Ireland. Based in Dublin and established in 2003, the Independent Youth Theatre produces new Irish works which are directed and written by young people. It accepts members between the ages of 14 to 24 and is the only youth theatre in Ireland to be run by a democratically elected committee of youths. The group is a member of the National Association of Youth Drama (NAYD). The company has also taken part in the Dublin Fringe, and was a regular at the Everyman Palace Theatre's New Connections Festival, until its relocation to the Riverbank Arts Centre in Newbridge.

The National Youth Music Theatre (NYMT) is an arts organisation in the United Kingdom providing pre-professional education and musical theatre stage experience for young people. Based in London, it is constituted as a private limited company and as a registered charity. NYMT was founded in 1976 by director and playwright Jeremy James Taylor. Since its inception, it has produced over fifty productions at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, premièred thirty new musical theatre works, toured several times outside the United Kingdom, and had runs in the West End and on Broadway. Amongst the many alumni of the National Youth Music Theatre who have gone on to careers in the performing arts are Jude Law, Jonny Lee Miller, Sheridan Smith, Connie Fisher, Idris Elba and Matt Lucas. Alumni have also included directors such as Jo Davies, and songwriters such as Tara Mcdonald.

The National Youth Theatre of Great Britain (NYT) is a youth theatre and registered charity in London. Its aim is to develop and nurture young people through creative arts and theatrical productions. Founded in 1956 as the world's first youth theatre, the NYT has built a reputation for producing actors such as Daniel Craig, Daniel Day-Lewis, Timothy Dalton, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Idris Elba, Colin Firth, Derek Jacobi, Ben Kingsley, Ian McShane, Helen Mirren, Lysette Anthony, Rosamund Pike, and Kate Winslet, among numerous others.

The National Youth Theatre Company (NYTC) is a not-for-profit organisation that runs musical theatre training workshops and musical productions in New Zealand. It was established in 2005, with the aim of providing opportunities for young people to participate in performing arts training. The company provides training strictly to New Zealand youth, between ages 7 and 21, and each show has multiple casts, enabling more young people to perform on stage.

Roseneath Theatre is a not-for-profit theatre specializing in work for Young Audiences (TYA) which is officed in downtown Toronto but tours its productions to schools grades JK-12 across the province of Ontario. They have also been to the far North of Canada, the United States and to parts of Europe and Asia. The company was founded in 1983 by David S. Craig and Robert Morgan, who served as co-artistic directors until 2002, when David S. Craig assumed the role singularly. David was succeeded by Andrew Lamb in 2010. Andrew is the current artistic director.
