
The All Malaysia Indian Progressive Front, abbrev: AMIPF, or better known just as the Indian Progressive Front, is a Malaysian political party. It is a splinter party of the Malaysian Indian Congress formed by M. G. Pandithan in 1990. The party was a component of the defunct opposition coalition, Gagasan Rakyat from 1990 to 1996, but it currently supports the Barisan Nasional coalition although it is not a member. IPF had failed in its application to join BN after an objection from MIC. Instead it is being considered a 'Friends of BN' party.

Democratic Malaysian Indian Party (DMIP) or Malay: Parti Demokratik India Malaysia was a splinter party of Malaysian Indian Congress (MIC) formed on 19 October 1985 to represent the minority India community by Datuk V. Govindaraj, an ex-Vice President of MIC. He joined MIC in 1946, selected to be Central Working Committee (CWC) member of MIC in 1978, elected as the Member of Parliament for Pelabuhan Klang in 1979, chief of Selangor MIC and central MIC Vice President in 1981 before his MIC membership was suspended in 1983 and sacked later in 1984 which push him to form and found Democratic Malaysian Indian Party (DMIP). Although the struggle of DMIP for than ten years has failed to join Barisan Nasional (BN) causing it to be disbanded by its founder and president, Datuk V. Govindaraj who went back to be with MIC and was selected again as CWC member of MIC in 1997 but was dropped at last by Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu in 2006.

Hindu Rights Action Force, better known by its acronym HINDRAF ; is a Hindu-activism right-wing non-governmental organisation (NGO) with its renowned slogan of Makkal Sakti or Kuasa Rakyat translated as People's Power. This organisation began as a coalition of 30 Hindu NGOs committed to the preservation of Hindu community rights and heritage in a multiracial Malaysia.
The Human Rights Party Malaysia was a Malaysian human rights-based political party founded on 19 July 2009, led by human rights activist P.Uthayakumar. Uthayakumar was the pro-tem Secretary General of HRP with the support of Uthayakumar's brother, P.Waythamoorthy, both leaders of Hindu Rights Action Force (HINDRAF), a apolitical human rights and equal rights non-governmental organisation (NGO).

The Malaysia Makkal Sakti Party is a political party in Malaysia that seeks to champion ethnic Malaysian-Indian issues. MMSP is an offshoot but unaffiliated of the apolitical NGO of Hindu Rights Action Force (HINDRAF) formed by its former coordinator R.S. Thanenthiran and his detractors faction aligned to the ruling Barisan Nasional (BN)'s United Malays National Organisation (UMNO) government then whoes actrocities the movement had been fighting against. It had even copied the NGO's slogan of People's Power as the party name.

It is one of the founding members of the coalition Barisan Nasional, previously known as the Alliance, which was in power from when the country achieved independence in 1957 until the elections in 2018. The party was among the first to fight for Malayan Independence and is one of the oldest parties in Malaysia.

Before a meal it is customary to wash hands as cutlery is often not used while eating, with the exception of a serving spoon for each respective dish.

Malaysian Indian Justice Party is a political party representing the Indian community in Malaysia. It is a relatively new party, was among the latest 20 new parties registration approved by the Registrar of Society (RoS) and just received permission to operate as a political party in 2013. The party is pro-Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition party and even campaigned for BN in the 2018 Malaysian general election (GE14).
