Sanrio Company, Ltd. is a Japanese company that designs, licenses and produces products focusing on the kawaii ("cute") segment of Japanese popular culture. Their products include stationery, school supplies, gifts, and accessories that are sold worldwide, including at specialty brand retail stores in Japan. Sanrio's best-known character is Hello Kitty, a little anthropomorphic girl cat, and one of the most successful marketing brands in the world.

Care Bears are a group of multi-colored teddy bear characters, originally painted in 1981 by artist Elena Kucharik to be used on greeting cards from American Greetings and becomes actual plush teddy bears in 1983.

Flint the Time Detective, known in Japan as Jikū Tantei Genshi-kun , is an animated Japanese television series directed by Hiroshi Fukutomi. It was based on a manga by Hideki Sonoda and Akira Yamauchi and was published by Bros. Comics in Japan. A second manga by Bom Bom Comics was also produced and was released as a special promo for the anime. The anime aired from 1998 to 1999 in Japan and ran for 39 episodes.

Fluffy, Fluffy Cinnamoroll is a full-color manga series written and illustrated by Yumi Tsukirino and based on an original story by Chisato Seki. Aimed at elementary school girls, it stars the Sanrio character Cinnamoroll and was released in North America by the Vizkids line of Viz Media. It was originally serialized in Japan from 2005 through 2008 in Pucchigumi.

Jewelpet is a Japanese media franchise and toy line created in 2008 as a joint venture between Sanrio and Sega Toys, produced by the third character designer of Hello Kitty, Yuko Yamaguchi and illustrated by the character designer of Cinnamoroll, Miyuki Okumura. The franchise was originally launched on January 15, 2008, focusing on animals named after jewels, birthstones and minerals, who can use magic using their eyes.

Metamorphoses is a 1978 Japanese animated anthology film that premiered in Albuquerque, New Mexico on November 2, 1978. It was released by Sanrio in the United States on May 3, 1979. It is a retelling of stories from Metamorphoses by the Roman poet Ovid, and narration by Peter Ustinov. In all of its five parts, the protagonists are portrayed in the form of a recurring boy and girl.

Mewkledreamy is a character franchise created by Sanrio, illustrated by character designer Mayumi Yanagita. The franchise was officially launched in 2017.

Nakajima USA, Inc., is a wholly owned subsidiary of Nakajima Japan, a family run company founded in 1919. A seasoned company in the design and manufacture of licensed plush, collectible and seasonal toys and gifts, Nakajima USA currently produces and distributes a wide range of lifestyle products under a master license agreement for Sanrio Inc. as well as the company’s signature characters.

Rilu Rilu Fairilu is a character franchise created in collaboration by Sanrio and Sega Sammy Holdings, illustrated by character designer Ai Setani. It is the second Sanrio franchise that was handled by two companies, the first being Jewelpet. The franchise was officially launched in December 2015.

Ringing Bell is a 1978 Japanese anime adventure-drama short film adaption of the storybook of the same name written by Takashi Yanase, the creator of Anpanman. It is most notable by fans and critics as a family film which makes a sharp sudden turn into a dark and violent story that criticizes and reflects upon the theme of revenge and war. It is also recognized as one of the only Japanese shock films directed towards children and families.

Sanrio Boys is a Japanese media franchise created by Sanrio in November 2015. The Sanrio Boys were conceptualized as a social media project to promote merchandise for Sanrio's best-selling characters. Due to its popularity, it grew to have its own merchandise line, a manga series, a series of character drama CDs, a 2016 smartphone game for iOS and Android, and an anime television series by Pierrot aired from January 6 to March 24, 2018.

Sanrio Puroland , also known as Hello Kitty Land, is an indoor theme park located in Tama New Town, Tokyo, Japan. Opened on December 7, 1990, it hosts attractions, live shows, shopping outlets, and restaurants dedicated to Sanrio characters such as Hello Kitty, My Melody, Cinamoroll, Gudetama, and Aggretsuko, in a manner akin to Disneyland and its sister theme parks.

Show by Rock!! is a mobile rhythm video game developed and published by Geechs, in conjunction with Sanrio. It is Sanrio's first-ever franchise project aimed for the older demographic and the company's first music-based franchise. The game was released on July 30, 2013 for iOS and on June 27, 2014 for Android devices. In January 2018, development transferred from Geechs to Edia with its service discontinued on December 26, 2019. A successor to the original game was later developed by Now Production and published by Square Enix on March 12, 2020 on all mobile platforms.

Space Runaway Ideon is a 1980 anime television series produced by Sunrise, created and directed by Yoshiyuki Tomino, produced immediately following his most famous work, Mobile Suit Gundam. It first premiered on TV Tokyo from 1980 to 1981, followed by two feature films in 1982, and was later broadcast in Japan by the satellite TV network Animax from September 2006.

The Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra is recognized as the oldest symphony orchestra in Japan, having been founded in Nagoya in 1911. It relocated to Tokyo in 1938 and has some 166 members as of 2005.
