Alan Wake is an action-adventure game developed by Remedy Entertainment and published by Microsoft Studios, released for the Xbox 360 in May 2010, and Microsoft Windows in February 2012. The story follows best-selling thriller novelist Alan Wake as he tries to uncover the mystery behind his wife's disappearance during a vacation in the small fictional town of Bright Falls, Washington, all while experiencing events from the plot in his latest novel, which he cannot remember writing, coming to life.

Battlefield 4 is a first-person shooter video game developed by video game developer DICE and published by Electronic Arts. It is a sequel to 2011's Battlefield 3, with the story taking place six years later during the fictional "War of 2020". The title was first released in October 2013 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360; then later in November for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Forbidden Island is a cooperative board game developed by Matt Leacock and published by Gamewright Games in 2010. Two to four players take the roles of different adventurers, moving around a mysterious island, looking for hidden treasures as the island sinks around them. All players win if they find all the hidden treasures and they all make it back to the helicopter and fly away, and they all lose if they cannot.

Forbidden Siren 2 is a survival horror stealth game developed by Japan Studio's Project Siren team, and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation 2 in 2006. It is a sequel to 2003's Siren. A film inspired by the game but featuring a different plot and characters, Siren, was released that same year.

Higanjima is a Japanese manga series by Kōji Matsumoto. It was adapted into a live action film in 2010. It also spawned two spin-off series, Higanjima: Saigo no 47 Nichikan, and Higanjima 48 Nichigo…, both published in Kodansha's Weekly Young Magazine.

Jurassic Park, later also referred to as Jurassic World, is an American science fiction media franchise centered on a disastrous attempt to create a theme park of cloned dinosaurs. It began in 1990 when Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment bought the rights to the novel by Michael Crichton before it was published. The book was successful, as was Steven Spielberg's 1993 film adaptation. The film received a theatrical 3D re-release in 2013, and was selected in 2018 for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant".

MagnaCarta 2 is a video game developed by South Korean developer Softmax and published by Bandai Namco Games exclusively for Xbox 360. It is a follow-up to the role-playing video games Magna Carta: The Phantom of Avalanche released on Windows and Magna Carta: Crimson Stigmata released on the PlayStation 2. It was released in Japan on August 6, 2009 and in North America on October 13, 2009. This marks the series' first entry onto a seventh generation console. The game was officially unveiled in the April 2009 edition of Famitsu magazine.

The Mysterious Mr Quin is a short story collection by British writer Agatha Christie, first published in the UK by William Collins & Sons on 14 April 1930 and in the US by Dodd, Mead and Company later in the same year. The UK edition retailed at seven shillings and sixpence (7/6) and the US edition at $2.00.

Rugrats Go Wild is a 2003 American children's film based on the Nickelodeon animated television series Rugrats and The Wild Thornberrys. It is the third and final installment in the Rugrats film series as well as the second and last film in The Wild Thornberrys series. Christine Cavanaugh, the original voice of Chuckie Finster, was replaced by Nancy Cartwright. The film was produced by Nickelodeon Movies and Klasky Csupo and released in theaters on June 13, 2003, by Paramount Pictures. It was the least successful film in the Rugrats series, grossing $55.4 million worldwide and receiving mixed to negative reviews.

A Stab in the Dark is a whodunnit written by Australian playwright Alex Vickery-Howe. The first production was performed in Adelaide, South Australia, in February - March 2008 and directed by Toni Main.

The Swiss Family Robinson: Flone of the Mysterious Island is an anime series produced by Nippon Animation.

Tarzan and the Castaways is a collection of three stories by American writer Edgar Rice Burroughs, the last in his series of twenty-four books about the jungle hero Tarzan. The title novella, and the two short stories were first published in pulp magazines in 1940 and 1941. The combined book was published first as a hardcover by Canaveral Press in early 1965, and as a paperback by Ballantine Books in July 1965.
