W"Little Orphant Annie" is an 1885 poem written by James Whitcomb Riley and published by the Bowen-Merrill Company. First titled "The Elf Child", the name was changed by Riley to "Little Orphant Allie" at its third printing; however, a typesetting error during printing renamed the poem to its current form. Known as the "Hoosier poet", Riley wrote the rhymes in 19th-century Hoosier dialect. As one of his most well known poems, it served as the inspiration for the comic strip Little Orphan Annie which itself inspired a Broadway musical, several films, and many radio and television programs.

After the Mafia betray and murder his family, Lincoln embarks on a quest for revenge while slowly building a criminal empire and seizing power from other criminal organisations in the city.

The strip was originally called Fritzi Ritz, but over several years, the focus changed from ditzy Fritzi to her niece Nancy, who got her own Sunday topper strip starting October 3, 1938.

The title was authored by Lennie Herman, the writer of Star Comics books Top Dog and Royal Roy, and illustrated by artist Warren Kremer, who had previously worked for Harvey Comics.

WTim Tyler's Luck is an adventure comic strip created by Lyman Young, elder brother of Blondie creator Chic Young. Distributed by King Features Syndicate, the strip ran from August 13, 1928, until August 24, 1996.
