
Aalsmeer Flower Auction is a flower auction that takes place in Aalsmeer, Netherlands. It is the largest flower auction in the world. The Aalsmeer Flower Auction building is the fourth largest building by footprint in the world, covering 518,000 square metres. Flowers from all over the world – Europe, Israel, Ecuador, Colombia, Ethiopia, Kenya, and other countries—are traded every day in this gigantic building. Around 20 million flowers are sold daily. This increases by around 15 percent around special days such as Valentine's Day and Mother's Day. Their flowers are subjected to around 30 quality checks so that they can be graded on a scale.

The Bloemenmarkt is the world's only floating flower market. Founded in 1862, it is sited in Amsterdam, Netherlands, on the Singel canal between Muntplein and Koningsplein in the city's southern canal belt. The Chicago and North Western Depot in Watertown, Wisconsin is a railroad depot built in 1903 and operated by the Chicago and North Western Railway. The station served passengers from 1903 to 1950. Afterward, it serviced freight trains until 1976. It has since been converted into a florist shop. The Union Pacific Railroad's single-tracked Clyman Subdivision remains in front of the depot.

In 2004, it was home to 50 flower vendors. Most vendors, but not all, are members of the Dangwa Flower Market Association. The market is centered on Dos Castillas Street at the intersection with Dimasalang Road extending to other streets like Lacson Avenue and Maria Clara Street.
