The 2005 European Race Walking Cup was held in Miskolc, Hungary, on May 21, 2005.

The 8th edition of the European Race Walking Cup took place in the French city of Metz on Sunday May 24, 2009.

The ninth edition of the European Race Walking Cup was held on the roads of Olhão, Portugal on 21 May 2011. The event was jointly organised by the Federação Portuguesa de Atletismo and the European Athletics Association. A total of 222 athletes from 26 countries participated in the competition.

The 2013 European Race Walking Cup was held in Dudince, Slovakia, on 19 May 2013.

The 2015 European Race Walking Cup took place on May 17, 2015. The races were held on a 1 km lap on Gran Vía Escultor Salzillo in Murcia, Spain. Detailed reports of the event were given for the IAAF and for the EAA.

The 2017 European Race Walking Cup took place on May 21, 2017. The races were held on a 1 km lap around the city park in Poděbrady, Czech Republic.

The 2019 European Race Walking Cup took place on 19 May, 2019. The races were held on a 1 km lap around the city centre in Alytus, Lithuania. It was the last edition to be held under the name European Race Walking Cup before being renamed to European Race Walking Team Championships from 2021 on.
