The film was created by Busch Entertainment Corporation and Lookout Entertainment. It is the first 3-D film featured at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay.

Manta is a steel family launched roller coaster at SeaWorld San Diego in San Diego, California, United States. The ride was manufactured by MACK Rides and opened to the public on May 26, 2012. It utilizes the same ride system that was used in Blue Fire which opened in 2009 at Europa Park.

Pirates 4D is an attraction film designed to be shown in a specially-built or remodeled theater space in a theme park, featuring in-theater special effects, sometimes referred to as a 4D film.

Sesame Street 4-D Movie Magic is a 4D film theme park attraction located at Universal Studios Japan, SeaWorld San Antonio, formerly at SeaWorld San Diego, Busch Gardens Williamsburg and Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. The attraction, which was made to run at Universal Studios Japan, was later acquired by SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment to run at their Busch Gardens and SeaWorld theme parks. In addition, Busch Gardens parks also include multiple other Sesame Street themed attractions, as part of their Sesame Street Forest of Fun/Sesame Street Safari of Fun park areas. The attraction contains 4-D effects to go along with the film which include spraying water, bursts of air, leg ticklers and fans.

Shamu was the name used for several SeaWorld orca shows and was the stage name given to the "star" of those shows, beginning with the original Shamu in the late 1960s and early 1970s. The orca Shamu died in 1971, but the name Shamu was trademarked by SeaWorld and has been given to different orcas at different times when performing in Shamu shows.

Shipwreck Rapids is a river rapids ride currently operating at SeaWorld San Diego in San Diego, California. This attraction is located in the Shipwreck Island area of the park, which is themed as a South Pacific island where many ships and their crews have been marooned. The four stranded ships are the Implausible, RMS Royal Star, Wholly Mackerel, and Dream Boat II.
