The Game Boy Advance version was later re-released and bundled on Twin Pack cartridge with Spider-Man 2: The Game in 2005. While the game directly adapts the plot of the film it is based on, it also builds upon it by including scenes and villains not present in the film. Tobey Maguire and Willem Dafoe reprise their roles from the film, as Spider-Man and the Green Goblin, respectively, while Bruce Campbell, who played a wrestling ring announcer in the film, narrates the game's tutorial and bonus levels.
