This is a list of all Danish Minister of Defences.

The Minister of Defence of Denmark is the politically appointed head of the Danish Ministry of Defence. The Minister of Defence is responsible for the Danish armed forces, the Danish Defence Intelligence Service and the Danish Emergency Management Agency.

Alsing Emanuel Andersen was a Danish social democrat politician. Andersen served as the Minister of Defense (1935–1940) for Denmark. From 8 July 1940 to 1945, he served as the vice chairman of the Danish Social Democratic Party, and as the acting chairman of the party from the death of Thorvald Stauning until the end of the Nazi occupation of Denmark in 1945. Andersen briefly returned to national politics as the Minister of the Interior from 13 to 23 November 1947.

Gitte Lillelund Bech is a Danish politician who has been Defence Minister representing the Liberal party, Venstre. She entered office in January 2010, when she replaced Søren Gade after a cabinet reshuffle.

Klaus Berntsen was a Danish politician, representing the Liberal party, Venstre. He was Council President of Denmark from 5 July 1910 to 21 June 1913 as the leader of the Cabinet of Klaus Berntsen. From 5 May 1920 to 9 October 1922 he served as Defence Minister.

Bernt Johan Holger Collet is a Danish politician and farmer. He is the eldest son of Chamberlain and Master of the Royal Hunt, M. Sc. (Econ), Harald Collet and landscape architect Else Collett.

Claus Hjort Frederiksen is a Danish politician of the Venstre party, who served as the Danish Minister for Defence from 2016–2019. He was Minister for Finance from June 2015 until November 2016, having previously served in same capacity from 7 April 2009 to 3 October 2011, as member of the Lars Løkke Rasmussen I Cabinet. From 2001 to 2009, he was Minister of Employment of Denmark in cabinets I II, and III of Anders Fogh Rasmussen. He is a member of the liberal party Venstre. He has been a member of parliament (Folketinget) since the 2005 Danish parliamentary election.

Michael Pedersen Friis was Prime Minister of Denmark from 5 April 1920 to 5 May 1920. His cabinet was called the Cabinet of M.P. Friis.

Søren Gade Jensen is a Danish politician who has been a Member of the European Parliament since 2019, representing the Liberal party, Venstre. He has been a Liberal member of the Danish Parliament from 2001. Before entering politics, he was a military officer and businessman.

Hans Hækkerup was a Danish politician who has served as a member of parliament (Folketing) for the Social Democratic party and as the Minister of Defense in four cabinets of Poul Nyrup Rasmussen.

Carl Holst is a Danish politician, representing the liberal party Venstre. He is the first Region Mayor of Region of Southern Denmark, an office he assumed on 1 January 2007. He served as County Mayor of South Jutland County from 1 July 2000, following the unexpected resignation of the former county mayor, Kresten Philipsen. Holst was re-elected in 2001, and served in this capacity until 31 December 2006, when the Danish counties were abolished.

Johan Ludvig Carl Christian Tido Holstein, was a Danish politician who was Minister of State of Denmark. He was Council President of Denmark for two months, from 16 August to 28 October 1909. He also served as Defence Minister of Denmark from 18 October to 28 October 1909.

Henri Konow was a Danish naval officer, vice-admiral, and the last governor of the Danish West Indies, overseeing the transfer of administration to the United States of America following the Treaty of the Danish West Indies in 1916 under which the Kingdom of Denmark sold the islands now named the US Virgin Islands to the United States in exchange for US$25,000,000 in gold.

Vilhelm Herman Oluf Madsen was a Danish politician, minister, army officer, businessman and inventor. He was War Minister in the Deuntzer Cabinet 1901–1905. Madsen was the father of the physician Thorvald Madsen.

Adam Wilhelm, Greve Moltke was in 1848-1852 the first Prime Minister of Denmark in the new constitutional monarchy outlined in 1848 and signed as the Danish Constitution on 5 June 1849 by Frederik VII of Denmark.

Peter Rochegune Munch (1870–1948) was a prominent Danish historian and politician. He was a leading member of the Radikale Venstre, and represented Langeland in parliament.

Niels Thomasius Neergaard was a Danish historian and political figure, a member of the Liberal Moderate Venstre and since 1910 of Venstre. He served as Council President of Denmark between 1908 and 1909 as head of the Cabinet of Neergaard I and as both Prime minister of Denmark and Finance Minister from 5 May 1920 to 23 April 1924, leading the Cabinet of Neergaard II and III. His last cabinet office was as Finance Minister.

Valdemar Rudolph von Raasløff was a Danish politician, military officer and diplomat.

Thorvald August Marinus Stauning was the first social democratic Prime Minister of Denmark. He served as Prime Minister from 1924 to 1926 and again from 1929 until his death in 1942.

Ant(h)on Frederik Tscherning was a Danish army officer who became a politician.

Nicolai Halby Wammen is a Danish politician of the Social Democrats who has been serving as Minister for Finance in the government of Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen since 2019. A native and lifelong resident of Denmark's second-largest city, Aarhus, he served as mayor. On the national level, he has served as Minister of European Affairs (2011–2013) and as Minister of Defence (2013–2015).
