SS Ben Seyr

SS Ben Seyr was a steel-built coastal cargo vessel which was operated out of Ramsey, Isle of Man for the Ramsey Steamship Company; ostensibly to Liverpool, Belfast and Whitehaven. Her name, Ben Seyr, came from the Manx Gaelic term for gentlewoman. She was lost in a storm in either the northern part of the Celtic Sea, or the southern part of the Irish Sea, in October 1938, going down with the loss of all hands.

Built by Spanish shipyard Astilleros de Huelva in 1997 as Lehola for Estonian Shipping Co Ltd she has served a number of owners and operators as RR Triumph and Triumph before her sale to Clipper Group and being renamed Clipper Racer. In 2011, she was chartered to Northlink Ferries and renamed Helliar.

Hildasay is a 7,606 GT Ro-Ro ferry which was built by Astilleros de Huelva SA, Huelva, Spain in 1999 as Leili for the Estonian Shipping Company, Tallinn. During a charter to Crowley Maritime she was renamed Port Everglades Express, reverting to Leili when the charter ended. In 2005, she was sold to Greece and renamed RR Shield. In 2008, she was sold to Seatruck Ferries, Heysham and renamed Shield. In January 2010 she was chartered to NorthLink Ferries and renamed Hildasay. In 2019 she was bought by the Scottish government.

Karen Knutsen

Karen Knutsen is a shuttle tanker built in 1999. It was originally named Knock Whillan flying a Liberian flag. On 15 July 2003 it was renamed Karen Knutsen and reflagged to Isle of Man on 22 December 2003. Its home port is Douglas. It is owned by Knutsen O.A.S. Shipping AS and managed by KNOT Management AS.

Lady Elizabeth is a wrecked iron barque of 1,155 tons built by Robert Thompson Jr. of Southwick, Sunderland and launched on 4 June 1879. Robert Thompson Jr. was one of the sons of Robert Thompson Sr. who owned and operated the family ran shipyard J. L. Thompson & Sons. Thompson Jr. eventually left the family business in 1854 to start his own shipbuilding business in Southwick, Sunderland. The ship was built for John Wilson as a replacement for the 658-ton, 1869-built barque Lady Elizabeth which sank off Rottnest Island, Western Australia in 1878.

After commercial service in Australia and New Zealand, she was chartered to the US military as Joint Venture (HSV-X1). Now owned and operated by the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company, she mainly provides a seasonal service between Douglas and Liverpool.

The MV Oceanic Viking was an armed patrol vessel of the Australian Customs Service. Originally built in 1996 as the offshore supply vessel Viking Lady for Norwegian shipping company Eidesvik Shipping AS, the ship was converted into a cable layer in 2000 and renamed Oceanic Viking. The ship was chartered to the Australian Customs Service through P&O Marine Services from 2004 to 2010. In 2011, it was purchased by A&P Tyne, Isle of Man, and renamed European Supporter.
