WHendrik Johannes Cruijff OON was a Dutch professional football player and coach. As a player, he won the Ballon d'Or three times, in 1971, 1973, and 1974. Cruyff was a proponent of the football philosophy known as Total Football explored by Rinus Michels, and is widely regarded as one of the greatest players in football history.
WJohannes Gerrit "Johan" Derksen is a Dutch sports journalist and former football player. He played professional football between 1966 and 1978 for five clubs: Go Ahead Eagles, Cambuur Leeuwarden, BV Veendam, HFC Haarlem and MVV Maastricht. During and after his active career, he became well known as a sports journalist, specialising in football. He was the editor-in-chief of Voetbal International, the Netherlands' most prominent football magazine, from 2000 until his retirement in 2013. He was also a television football pundit on RTL7's Voetbal International; Derksen is now active in the same role on the Veronica Inside show on Veronica TV.
WTom Egbers is a Dutch journalist of English descent, writer and TV presenter since 1985. He studied at the School voor de Journalistiek in Utrecht, and was employed by Studio Sport (NOS) in 1984 as presenter. Between 1990 and 1992 Egbers worked for Veronica. He has written a book, The Black Meteor, about black footballer Steve Mokone that has been made into the film The Black Meteor.
