WBus Gamer is a Japanese manga series created by Kazuya Minekura. It only exists as a single volume 'Pilot Edition' due to difficulties in serialization. The manga has been licensed for North American distribution by Tokyopop. The series follows the story of three young men hired by a mysterious company to participate in a business game, in which companies gamble against each other for corporate secrets. It has also produced a drama CD featuring the voices of Kenichi Suzumura, Junichi Suwabe, and Hiroki Takahashi. An anime adaptation of the manga premiered on the Japanese television network KBS Kyoto between March 14 and March 28, 2008, airing a total of three episodes. It is directed by Naoyuki Kuzuya, produced by Frontier Works, and animated by Studio Izena. The characters are voiced by the same voice actors in the drama CD.
WKosaku Shima is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Kenshi Hirokane. It depicts the growth and career of a fictional salaryman named Kōsaku Shima. It has been serialized in Kodansha's Weekly Morning, starting with the first series Kachō Shima Kōsaku in 1983 and has currently been divided into eight parts. The current part, Sōdanyaku Shima Kōsaku, began in 2019.
WKurosagi is a Japanese manga written by Takeshi Natsuhara and illustrated by Kuromaru. The series is about a boy named Kurosaki who swindles only other professional swindlers known as shirosagi (シロサギ). It won the 2008 Shogakukan Manga Award for seinen/general manga along with Tetsuji Sekiya's Bambino!.
WMinami no Teiō is a Japanese manga series written by Dai Tennōji and illustrated Rikiya Gō. It is serialized in Weekly Manga Goraku magazine by Nihon Bungeisha. The first volume was published in March 1992 and, as of December 2018, the series has 150 volumes. It has been adapted into several live action films, including original videos and two television films and also into two original video animations.
WSalaryman Kintaro is a Japanese manga series by Hiroshi Motomiya. It was serialized in Weekly Young Jump from 1994 to 2002, with many periods of inactivity during its run. Salaryman Kintaro had sold over 30 million copies in print.
WTokumei Kakarichō Tadano Hitoshi is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Kimio Yanagisawa. A television drama was aired on TV Asahi in 2003, the official English name of the drama is Hitoshi Tadano, the Extraordinary Undercover Detective. A new drama series started airing in 2012 as Detective Anonymous.
WUshijima the Loan Shark is a Japanese manga series by Shohei Manabe. It won the 56th Shogakukan Manga Award for general manga. It was adapted into a live action television drama series in 2010 and into a live action film in 2012. A second live action film, Ushijima the Loan Shark 2, was released on May 16, 2014. Two other live action films, Ushijima the Loan Shark 3, and Ushijima the Loan Shark The Final have also been released.
