Auteuring Nollywood: Critical Perspectives on The Figurine is a book released on 31 July 2014, detailing the scholarly analysis of events in the 2009 film The Figurine directed by Kunle Afolayan. The book is the first book in the history of Nigerian Cinema to be devoted to the work of a single Nigerian film director and it contains scholarly essays, which explores "the thematic focus and cinematic style employed in The Figurine". It also contains interviews with the cast and crew of the film and insights into the African and Nigerian film industry. Since its release, the book has been getting rave reviews from critics, educators and film scholars.

Disposición Final is a 2012 Argentine book by Ceferino Reato. It contains a long interview with Jorge Rafael Videla, de facto president of Argentina during the National Reorganization Process, and sentenced to life imprisonment for Humans Rights violations. Videla detailed the reasons and procedures of the military government, and Reato provided the historical context.

Extreme Metaphors is a collection of interviews with the British writer J. G. Ballard, edited by Simon Sellars and Dan O'Hara, and published in 2012.

Face Value is a 1983 anthology of collected journalism by South African journalist Jani Allan. The book is compiled from selections of Allan's successful gossip and popular culture column Just Jani that appeared in the Sunday Times. She was voted "the most admired person in South Africa." in a Gallup poll commissioned by the newspaper. The book was published by Longstreet publishers in Cape Town and released in South Africa in 1983.

Faces of Fear is a World Fantasy award-winning book where writer, critic and lawyer Douglas E. Winter interviews seventeen contemporary British and American horror writers about their life and art. The writers are V. C. Andrews, Clive Barker, William Peter Blatty, Robert Bloch, Ramsey Campbell, John Coyne, Dennis Etchison, Charles L. Grant, James Herbert, T. E. D. Klein, Stephen King, Michael McDowell, Richard Matheson, David Morrell, Alan Ryan, Whitley Strieber and Peter Straub.

Fandemonium is a book by the Red Hot Chili Peppers and photographer David Mushegain and was released officially on November 18, 2014. The book features photographs and interviews conducted by Mushegain with fans of all ages throughout the world during the band's 2011-13 I'm with You tour. Also included is a special introduction by the band's lead singer, Anthony Kiedis and comments by Flea, Chad Smith and Josh Klinghoffer on what it is like to be a dedicated fan to something.

The Film That Changed My Life is a non-fiction collection of interviews compiled by American journalist, author and film columnist Robert K. Elder. The book presents interviews with thirty famous directors who share stories about the movies that affected their career paths and directing styles.

The First Collection of Criticism by a Living Female Rock Critic is a 2015 essay collection by music critic Jessica Hopper.

Forgotten Voices of the Blitz and the Battle of Britain uses material from Imperial War Museum’s sound archive. It was written by Joshua Levine to bring together interviews with people who lived through the Blitz and the Battle of Britain. It features interviews with soldiers, airmen, fire-fighters, air-raid wardens and civilians, people in the air and on the ground.

Forgotten Voices of the Falklands uses the resources of the Imperial War Museum’s Sound Archive to present the first complete oral history of the Falklands War. The book presents a chronicle of the conflict from many different perspectives, told in the participants’ own voices from the initial invasion of the islands to the British landings to the Argentine surrender and its aftermath.

Forgotten Voices of the Great War is a collection of interviews with people who lived through the First World War.The book is part of the Imperial War Museum's oral archive.

Forgotten Voices of the Holocaust is a collection of interviews with victims of the Holocaust as well as people who collaborated with or worked directly for the Nazi regime. The Imperial War Museum commissioned Lyn Smith to work with them on their sound archive. The interviews she brought together are now part of their permanent Holocaust exhibit as well as being set down in this book from Ebury Press.

Forgotten Voices of the Second World War is a book written by Max Arthur that consists of interviews with soldiers, sailors, airmen and civilians of most nationalities who saw action during World War II. The interviews were drawn from the Imperial War Museum's sound archive. Many of the recordings had not been heard since the 1970s. As well as putting the interviews into chronological and campaign order, the book also puts the surrounding events into context.

Founders at Work: Stories of Startups' Early Days (2007) is a book written by Jessica Livingston composed of interviews she did with the founders of famous technology companies concerning what happened in their early years.

The Good Women of China (ISBN 0-701-17345-9) is a book published in 2002. The author, Xue Xinran, is a British-Chinese journalist who currently resides in London and writes for The Guardian. Esther Tyldesley translated this book from Chinese.

Howard Stern Comes Again is the third book by American radio personality Howard Stern, released on May 14, 2019 by Simon & Schuster. It is his first book in 24 years since the release of Miss America (1995).

Imperial Ambitions: Conversations with Noam Chomsky on the Post-9/11 World is a 2005 Metropolitan Books American Empire Project publication of interviews with American linguist and political activist Noam Chomsky conducted and edited by award-winning journalist David Barsamian of Alternative Radio.

An Instinct for the Kill (ISBN 0-7322-5891-X) is the second of Antonella Gambotto-Burke's books and her second anthology. It was dedicated to investment banker Mark Burrows. In his introduction to the book, Edward de Bono writes: "Antonella is not afraid of words, ideas, her own opinions or the opinions of others. Perception is personal so truth is also personal. This is much more like Protagoras than like Plato. For Protagoras, perception was the only truth – but it was changeable. For Plato, the fascist, truth was what you had reached when you thought it was the absolute."

Interview with History is a book consisting of interviews by the Italian journalist and author Oriana Fallaci (1929–2006), one of the most controversial interviewers of her time. She interviewed many world leaders of the time.

The Job: Interviews with William S. Burroughs is a book by Daniel Odier built around an extensive series of interviews with Beat Generation author William S. Burroughs conducted in the late 1960s. Originally published by Éditions Pierre Belfond in France in 1969, it was later reissued in several different English-language editions. Odier and Burroughs share authorship of the book, but it is common to see Burroughs given sole front cover author credit.

Love for Sale: Pop Music in America is a 2016 book by The Nation music critic David Hajdu, in which he chronicles the 100-plus year history of pop music in the United States. The book features previously published material as well as interviews, including an interview with legendary folk singer Dave Van Ronk. Chronologically, Love for Sale takes the reader from the origins of ragtime in the 19th century through to the present era of streaming music. The author also sequential discusses the rise of tapes, CDs, and MP3s. The title of the book is derived from the 1930 Cole Porter song of the same name.

Lunch of Blood is Antonella Gambotto-Burke's first book and first anthology. The title was inspired by a Saul Bellow poem:

Modern Primitives, written by V. Vale and Andrea Juno, is a RE/Search publications book about body modification, published in 1989. The book consists of a collection of twenty two interviews and two essays with individuals and key figures involved the field of body modification in the late 1980s. It was one of the first documents to attempt to comprehensively cover the re-emergence and increasing popularity of tattooing, piercing, scarification, corsetry, sideshow, ritual and other practices in contemporary western society.

The Pleasure of Finding Things Out is a collection of short works from American physicist Richard Feynman, including interviews, speeches, lectures, and printed articles. Among these is his famous 1959 lecture "There's Plenty of Room at the Bottom", his report on the Space Shuttle Challenger disaster, and his speech on scientific integrity in which he coined the term "cargo cult science". The original foreword was written by Freeman Dyson.

Points...: Interviews, 1974–1994 is a 1995 book collecting interviews by the French philosopher Jacques Derrida. It contains the translation of all the interview of the 1992 French edition, plus two additional interviews, Honoris Causa and "The Work of Intellectuals and the Press".

The Presidential Papers is a collection of essays, interviews, poems, open letters to political figures, and magazine pieces written by Norman Mailer, published in 1963 by G.P. Putnam's Sons. It is, by Mailer's own admission, similar in structure and purpose to Advertisements for Myself, albeit with a relatively stronger focus on contemporary politics, although many other topics are touched upon. The book covers such topics as scatology, totalitarianism, aesthetics, fascism, the 1960 Democratic National Convention in Los Angeles, Jean Genet's 1958 play The Blacks, juvenile delinquency, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Fidel Castro, masturbation, and others.

The Ratzinger Report is a 1985 book consisting of a series of interviews collected over several days given by Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger to the Italian journalist Vittorio Messori. The book focuses on the state of the Roman Catholic Church after the Second Vatican Council. The book is very critical of the "hermeneutic of rupture" associated with the liberal "spirit of Vatican II" within the Church. It has often been reread in the context of the papacy of Pope Benedict XVI in order to better understand the mind and the thinking of the former pontiff.

Shoot the Women First is a 1991 book by Eileen MacDonald, based on the author's encounters with female terrorists. Through a collection of interviews, MacDonald analyzes the subjects, their reasons, and their modus operandi. Named after advice supposedly given to the sharpshooters in Germany's GSG 9 anti-terrorist squad, Shoot the Women First is based on some of the world's most notorious female terrorists. It sets out to destroy what the author sees as stereotypical myth and male fantasy surrounding such women, that they are either gun-toting lesbian feminists or misguided pawns.

Silent Interviews: On Language, Race, Sex, Science Fiction, and Some Comics is a 1995 non-fiction collection of interviews with author, professor, and critic Samuel R. Delany.

The Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Companion (ISBN 978-0-671-50106-8) is a trade paperback released by Pocket Books in 2000. Written by Terry J. Erdmann and Paula M. Block, it takes a detailed look at Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and features interviews with actors, writers, directors, producers, makeup artists, and other members of the production staff.

Stars of David: Prominent Jews Talk About Being Jewish (2005) is a book by journalist and former 60 Minutes producer Abigail Pogrebin. The 400-page book was published by Random House.

Talking About Life: Conversations on Astrobiology is a non-fiction book edited by astronomer Chris Impey that consists of interviews with three dozen leading experts on the subject of astrobiology. The subject matter ranges from the nature and limits of life on Earth to the current search for exoplanets and the prospects of intelligent life in the universe. The book was published as a hardcover by Cambridge University Press in 2010.

This is Orson Welles is a 1992 book by Orson Welles (1915–1985) and Peter Bogdanovich that comprises conversations between the two filmmakers recorded over several years, beginning in 1969. The wide-ranging volume encompasses Welles's life and his own stage, radio and film work as well as his insights on the work of others. The interview book was transcribed by Bogdanovich after Welles's death, at the request of Welles's longtime companion and professional collaborator, Oja Kodar.

Underground: The Tokyo Gas Attack and the Japanese Psyche is a book by Japanese novelist Haruki Murakami about the 1995 Aum Shinrikyo sarin gas attack on the Tokyo subway. The book is made up of a series of interviews with individuals who were affected by the attacks, and the English translation also includes interviews with members of Aum, the religious cult responsible for the attacks. Murakami hoped that through these interviews, he could capture a side of the attacks which the sensationalist Japanese media had ignored—the way it had affected average citizens. The interviews were conducted over nearly a year, starting in January 1996 and ending in December of that same year.

The Voice of Memory is a 1997 collection of interviews, originally published in Primo Levi: Converzsazioni e interviste.

Word Is Out: Stories of Some of Our Lives is a 1977 documentary film featuring interviews with 26 gay men and women. It was directed by six people collectively known as the Mariposa Film Group. Peter Adair conceived and produced the film, and was one of the directors. The film premiered in November 1977 at the Castro Theater in San Francisco, and went into limited national release in 1978. It also aired on many PBS stations in 1978.

The Wrestling is a nonfiction book by Simon Garfield, a British journalist and non-fiction author. The book charts the rise and fall in popularity of British professional wrestling over the course of the twentieth century.
