Highlander: The Card Game is an out-of-print collectible card game based on the Highlander franchise of films and television series. Players build decks from a 400+ card set, taking on the persona of one of the Immortals depicted in the franchise. The core of the game takes the form of a sword duel with players alternately playing attacks and defenses. Other cards are played to affect the basic rules of the game. You win when your opponent is reduced to 0 ability or cannot avoid a "headshot" attack. An expansion called the Movie Edition was released in mid March of 1996.

Hyborian Gates is an out-of-print collectible card game by Cardz. It was first released in July 1995. It featured art from Boris Vallejo and Julie Bell but suffered from bad cropping. A total of 450 cards were released in the core set and an additional 10 promo cards were also released. Starter decks contained 110 cards and booster packs had 12 cards. An expansion called Gatemasters was scheduled for a 1996 release but never materialized.

Killer Instinct is an out-of-print collectible card game (CCG) by Topps based on the Killer Instinct video game. It was first released in June 1996. The original set had 342 cards plus 6 promo cards. The game was Nintendo's first foray into CCGs. The cards were marred by low-resolution graphics pulled directly from the video game. The premise of the game had players trying to overthrow the Ultratech corporation by recruiting fighters and winning the Killer Instinct tournament.

Created in 2001, NFL Showdown is an out-of-print collectible card game by Wizards of the Coast based on American football. Cards feature players from the 2001-2003 seasons. During gameplay the game uses a barcode reader which resolves play selection. The game has been out of print since 2003.

The Power Rangers Collectible Card Game is an out-of-print American trading card game created by Bandai based upon Saban's Power Rangers Series television franchise. It was released in October 2008. The artwork featured on the cards originates from the Japanese Rangers Strike trading card game created in commemoration of the Super Sentai Series's 30th anniversary. Toei's Super Sentai Series television franchise is the primary source of Japanese footage for Power Rangers.

Quest for the Grail is an out-of-print collectible card game (CCG) by Horizon Games and Stone Ring in 1995.

Star Trek: The Card Game is an out-of-print collectible card game by Fleer and Skybox based on the original Star Trek series. It was first released in June 1996. The original set had 306 cards. One expansion was released in January 1997 called Starfleet Maneuvers and had 160 cards. A second expansion called Alien Encounters was slated for a summer 1997 release but never materialized. The game was not compatible with Decipher's iterations of the Star Trek Customizable Card Game.

Tomb Raider Collectible Card Game is an out-of-print collectible card game by Precedence based on the Tomb Raider franchise. It was first released in August 1999. The Premier set contained 210 cards. Two expansions were released for the game: Slippery When Wet in December 1999 and Big Guns in April 2000. A third expansion called Uncovered was planned for summer of 2000 but never materialized. The game incorporated gameplay elements better suited for board games.

Released in 2000 by Decipher Inc., Tribbles is non-collectible customizable card game. It is a subgame of the Trouble with Tribbles expansion for the Star Trek Customizable Card Game and was advertised as a customizable card game designed around the fictional tribble creatures of the Star Trek television series. While this game is not playable with most cards from the customizable card game, this pre-constructed game could be expanded by collecting the tribbles cards from The Troubles with Tribbles expansion of the Star Trek CCG.

Zatch Bell!: The Card Battle is an out-of-print trading card game released in 2005 based on the Zatch Bell! series. This game used original deck rules by using a spellbook instead of a loose deck.
