WClare Rewcastle Brown is a British activist and investigative journalist. Born in the former British Crown Colony of Sarawak, she is the founder of Sarawak Report and Radio Free Sarawak which are openly critical of the Barisan Nasional-led state government of Sarawak.

WTony Pua Kiam Wee is a Malaysian politician from the Democratic Action Party (DAP) currently serving as three-term Member of Parliament (MP) of Malaysia representing Damansara and Political Secretary to the Minister of Finance of Malaysia, Lim Guan Eng. Pua is the former Malaysian CEO of Cyber Village Sdn Bhd, a SESDAQ -listed company. In early 2007, he disposed of all his interests in the company and tendered his resignation to join the DAP in 2008.
WRadio Free Sarawak is a pirate radio station established by journalist Clare Rewcastle Brown and helmed by former Cats FM presenter Peter John Jaban, Christina Suntai who graduated from Florida Technical College in computer science and computer programming, and Michael Ngau. First broadcast on 16 November 2010, the station can be received by shortwave on 15420 kHz. It also produced podcasts for its programmes daily from 1100–1300 UTC or 7:00–9:00 pm at Sarawak local time (UTC+8). The station received wide publicity in Malaysia after the brief disappearance of Jaban. However it was later discovered that he had gone into hiding voluntarily. On 15 November 2014, the radio suspended its shortwave transmission services and claimed the Sarawak state government has jammed its service.
WMohd Rafizi bin Ramli is a Malaysian politician. He is the Vice-President and former Secretary-General of the People's Justice Party (PKR), a component party of Pakatan Harapan (PH). Rafizi is also a former Member of Parliament of Malaysia for Pandan in Selangor from 2013 to 2018. He is the founder of the whistleblower organization, National Oversight and Whistleblowers Centre (NOW) and the election volunteerism organization, Invoke Malaysia (INVOKE).
WSarawak Report is a whistleblowing site and political blog focused on Malaysia, notable for its early exposure of the 1Malaysia Development Berhad scandal. It has been operated from London since 2010 by Clare Rewcastle Brown. The website reported on the welfare of the indigenous people in Sarawak followed by exposés on corruption scandals in Sarawak and Malaysia in general. The website was blocked by the Barisan Nasional-led government from 2015 to 2018 because of its reporting on the 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) scandal. After the 2018 Malaysian general election, the new Pakatan Harapan led government unblocked the website.
WSelangor Young People Secretariat or in Malay: Sekreteriat Orang Muda Selangor (SERANG) which is a Non-government organization (NGO) that fight for the issues of young people in Selangor. and to monitor the administration of the state of Selangor which is led by the Pakatan Rakyat (PR) and its successor Pakatan Harapan (PH). They usually organize carnivals, stage performance and poem recitation in order to attract more young people to their cause. SERANG incumbent chairman is Budiman Mohd Zohdi who was the Selangor state legislative assemblyman (MLA) for the Sungai Panjang constituency (2013-2018) and was also the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Sungai Besar constituency (2016-2018) from United Malays National Organisation (UMNO) the main party of Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition.
