WKiran Bedi is the first woman in India to join the officer ranks of the Indian Police Service (IPS), social activist and tennis player, who was the 24th Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry from 28 May 2016 to 16 February 2021. She is the first Indian female to become an officer in the Indian Police Service and started her service in 1972. She remained in service for 35 years before taking voluntary retirement in 2007 as Director General, Bureau of Police Research and Development.
WPrashant Bhushan is an Indian public interest lawyer in the Supreme Court of India. He was a member of the faction of the India Against Corruption (IAC) movement known as Team Anna which supported Anna Hazare's campaign for the implementation of the Jan Lokpal Bill. After a split in IAC, he helped Team Anna form the Aam Aadmi Party. In 2015, he made several allegations against the party's leadership, its functioning and its deviation from the core ideology, values and commitments. WJeetendra Ghadge is an Indian activist based in Girgaon, Mumbai. Instrumental in exposing a police-politician nexus and working towards implementing police reforms. A full-time whistleblower Ghadge has also uncovered poor performance in controlling corruption by Anti-Corruption Bureau, Mumbai. As a RTI activist his work on uncovering alleged corruption in dam construction has led, according to the Times of India, to harassment of Ghadge.

WHemant Goswami is an Indian social activist working on social issues like public health, environmental activism, child rights, child labour and many other civil right issues. He is also well known as a voice against tobacco. He is credited with creating the first smoke-free city in any Third World country with the effective use of the Right to Information Act. Hemant has also been closely associated with Servants of the People Society too and till 2013 also worked as the Chief Executive officer (CEO) of The Samaja, one of the largest-selling Oriya daily newspaper founded by Gopabandhu Das in 1919.
