
IBM eServer was a family of computer servers from IBM Corporation. Announced in the year 2000, it combined the various IBM server brands under one brand. The various sub-brands were at the same time rebranded from:IBM AS/400 to IBM eServer iSeries, i for Integrated. IBM RS/6000 to IBM eServer pSeries, p for POWER IBM Netfinity to IBM eServer xSeries, x for eXtended architecture IBM S/390 to IBM eServer zSeries, z for Zero downtime

The IBM BladeCenter was IBM's blade server architecture, until it was replaced by Flex System. The x86 division was later sold to Lenovo in 2014.

The Portable Modular Data Center (PMDC) is a portable data center solution built into a standard 20, 40, or 53-foot intermodal container manufactured and marketed by IBM. IBM states that a PMDC cost 30% less to design and build than a traditional data center with cooling equipment.

Power Systems is a family of server computers from IBM that are based on its POWER processors. PureSystems is an IBM product line of factory pre-configured components and servers also being referred to as an "Expert Integrated System". The centrepiece of PureSystems is the IBM Flex System Manager in tandem with the so-called "Patterns of Expertise" for the automated configuration and management of PureSystems.

The IBM System i is a midrange computer platform from IBM, sometimes referred to generically by the umbrella term AS/400 or "AS400". The platform was first introduced as the AS/400 in June 1988, with the operating system being called OS/400. In 2000, IBM introduced the eServer iSeries. As part of IBM's re-branding initiative in 2006, it was again renamed to System i.

IBM Z is a family name used by IBM for all of its z/Architecture mainframe computers from the Z900 on. In July 2017, with another generation of products, the official family was changed to IBM Z from IBM z Systems; the IBM Z family now includes the newest model the IBM z15, as well as the z14 and the z13, the IBM zEnterprise models, the IBM System z10 models, the IBM System z9 models and IBM eServer zSeries models.
