WThe Bangladesh Navy currently operates two submarines, one hundred and fifteen surface ships, craft and boats, including five guided missile frigates, two patrol frigates, six guided missile corvettes, thirty-eight minor surface combatants of various types, thirty auxiliaries and amphibious landing craft and thirty-two small response boats. It also maintains a naval aviation unit with both fixed-wing aircraft and rotorcraft. In addition, six shore establishments are maintained.
