WLaxmi Chhaya was an Indian actress and dancer, who was best known for her work in Hindi and Marathi films throughout the 1960s into the mid 80's, particularly her supporting and guest roles. She starred in over 100 films over a career spanning two decades, which include Gumnaam (1965), Teesri Manzil (1966), Duniya (1968), Aya Sawan Jhoom Ke (1969), Mera Gaon Mera Desh (1971), and Raaste Kaa Patthar (1972), and was active from 1958 to 1987.
