Mark William Calaway, better known by the ring name The Undertaker, is an American retired professional wrestler. He was signed to WWE until his retirement. Widely regarded as one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time, The Undertaker is a seven-time world heavyweight champion in WWF/E, having held the WWF/E Championship four times and the World Heavyweight Championship three times.

William Alvin "Bill" Moody was an American professional wrestling manager and licensed funeral director. He is best known for his tenure with the World Wrestling Federation where he performed under the ring name Paul Bearer as the manager of The Undertaker. He later managed wrestlers such as Mankind and Undertaker's storyline brother, Kane. Outside WWE, he was known by the name Percival "Percy" Pringle III and performed in various regional territories and promotions, as well as World Class Championship Wrestling (WCCW).

The Brothers of Destruction were a professional wrestling tag team in WWE, composed of storyline half-brothers, The Undertaker and Kane. They feuded and teamed together on and off from 1997, winning three tag team championships.

The Corporate Ministry was a stable in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) in late spring and summer of 1999.

In Your House 11: Buried Alive was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by the World Wrestling Federation on October 20, 1996 at the Market Square Arena in Indianapolis, Indiana. It was the eleventh In Your House event and comprised five matches shown on pay-per-view as well as three matches held solely for the audience in the arena. The main event was the first Buried Alive match, between The Undertaker and Mankind. On the undercard Sid faced Vader in a match to determine the #1 contender for the WWF World Heavyweight Championship and Marc Mero defended the Intercontinental Championship against Goldust. This was the first WWF pay-per-view in which the active World Heavyweight Champion did not compete on-air on the show.

In Your House 14: Revenge of the 'Taker was the fourteenth In Your House professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by the World Wrestling Federation. The event took place on April 20, 1997 at the Rochester Community War Memorial in Rochester, New York.

Glenn Thomas Jacobs is an American professional wrestler, actor, author, businessman, and politician. As a Republican, he is the Mayor of Knox County, Tennessee. In professional wrestling, Jacobs is signed to WWE, where he is known by his ring name Kane. He began his professional wrestling career on the independent circuit in 1992, wrestling in promotions such as Smoky Mountain Wrestling (SMW) and the United States Wrestling Association (USWA) before joining the World Wrestling Federation in 1995. Jacobs played various characters until 1997, when he was repackaged as Kane, the younger half-brother of The Undertaker, with whom Jacobs would alternatively feud or team as The Brothers of Destruction.

Brian Lee Harris is an American retired professional wrestler. He is best known for his appearances with Extreme Championship Wrestling, Smoky Mountain Wrestling and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling under the ring name Brian Lee and with the World Wrestling Federation as Chainz and an impersonater version of The Undertaker.

Bruce Prichard is an American podcaster and professional wrestling booker, commentator, manager, and producer. As of August 2020, Prichard is employed by WWE, where he is a Senior Vice President and working as the Executive Director of SmackDown and Raw. As a manager for the promotion, Prichard performed under the ring name Brother Love and served as the original manager of The Undertaker. During Prichard's run as Brother Love, he hosted his own segment, The Brother Love Show where he would usually support the heel wrestlers. After leaving WWE in 2008, Prichard served as the Senior Vice President of Programming and Talent Relations for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling.

The Streak was a series of 21 victories for professional wrestler The Undertaker at WWE's premier annual event, WrestleMania. It began at WrestleMania VII in 1991 when he beat Jimmy Snuka, with the final win coming against CM Punk at WrestleMania 29 in 2013; the Undertaker was absent from WrestleMania X (1994) and WrestleMania 2000, owing to injury. Overall, he defeated 18 men during The Streak, which included three bouts with Triple H and two each opposite Kane and Shawn Michaels, as well as a handicap match against A-Train and Big Show at WrestleMania XIX. Although part of professional wrestling storyline, this run of victories was described by sports news publication The 42 as the "greatest winning streak in sport", while Sky Sports likened it to that of boxer Floyd Mayweather.

The Undertaker vs. Mankind was a professional wrestling Hell in a Cell match between The Undertaker and Mankind, also known as Mick Foley, of the then-World Wrestling Federation. The match took place at the King of the Ring pay-per-view on June 28, 1998, at the Civic Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It set the standard for future Hell in a Cell matches. During the bout, Foley received numerous injuries and took two dangerous and highly influential bumps. Journalist Michael Landsberg called it "maybe the most famous match ever."
