The game is part of the Batman: Arkham series, and was released on December 7, 2011 for iOS and June 26, 2013 for Android. It acts as a prologue to Batman: Arkham City, set a few weeks prior to the game's events, and follows Batman as he faces numerous supervillains in the streets of Gotham City, such as the Joker, Harley Quinn, Two-Face, Penguin, Solomon Grundy, and Poison Ivy, who have escaped from Arkham Asylum. Defeating enemies earns points that can be used to upgrade Batman's stats or unlock gadgets or costumes. The game features integration with Game Center.

Based on the DC Comics superhero Batman, it is a spin-off to the 2013 video game Batman: Arkham Origins, and is part of the Batman: Arkham series. It was released for iOS on October 16, 2013 and for Android on July 25, 2014. The game feature touch combat mechanics and offers in-app purchases, or micro transactions. The last game update was on April 21, 2014. The game has surpassed 5 million downloads on the Google Play store.

It is the sequel to 2013's Injustice: Gods Among Us. The game was initially released in May 2017 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One; a Microsoft Windows version was released later in November 2017. An expanded version of the game, titled Injustice 2: Legendary Edition, was released in March 2018 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows. Similar to the previous installment, a companion mobile app was released for Android and iOS devices. A prequel comic book series of the same name, written by Tom Taylor, was also released beginning in April 2017.

The game was released on the Stadia on November 19, 2019.

Running on the Unreal Engine 3, it is the tenth main installment in the Mortal Kombat video game series and a sequel to the 2011 game Mortal Kombat. It was released on April 14, 2015 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. NetherRealm Studios' mobile team developed a version for iOS and Android devices. High Voltage Software developed the PC version of the game, with Polish studio QLOC taking over the work on it shortly after the release of Kombat Pack 1.

WWE Immortals was a fighting game based on the professional wrestling promotion WWE. It was released on January 15, 2015 for Android and iOS. The game was developed by NetherRealm Studios in conjunction with Phosphor Game Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. The game was free on both app stores. On February 28, 2019, the game was shut down and no longer sold in-app purchases as of December 31, 2018.
