It has the same line-up as the previous album, 24/7: President Bongo, Biggi Veira and Daníel Ágúst Haraldsson, and the return of Urður "Earth" Hákonardóttir and guest spots from Högni Egilsson of Hjaltalin and Davíð Þór Jónsson. The photo used for the cover art is by Wojtek Kwiatkowski.

Mexico is the ninth studio album by the Icelandic electronic musicians GusGus, released on Kompakt label, following successful album Arabian Horse. It contains nine tracks, one of which is instrumental. After several line-up changes, Mexico was produced by Stephan Stephensen and Birgir Þórarinsson. Högni Egilsson of Hjaltalín, Daníel Ágúst Haraldsson and Urður Hákonardóttir made appearance as vocalists for this LP.

Polydistortion is the second studio album by Icelandic electronic music band GusGus. The album was released on 7 April 1997 on 4AD, serving as their first release on the label. The songs "Why?" and the band's cover of Slowblow's "Is Jesus Your Pal?" feature Emilíana Torrini on vocals. Most of the material on the album had previously been released independently, as the album GusGus in 1995.
