The Holy Family with Saint John the Baptist is an oil painting by Italian artist Giovanni Francesco Bezzi, also known as Nosadella, located in the Indianapolis Museum of Art, which is in Indianapolis, Indiana. Painted roughly 1550-1560, it depicts Jesus, Mary, Joseph, and John in a powerful, Mannerist style.

The Holy Family with Saint John the Baptist and an Angel is a religious painting by the Italian Renaissance artist Giovanni Antonio Bazzi aka Il Sodoma, dated to c. 1535–1540. It is now in the Musée des Beaux-Arts of Strasbourg, France. Its inventory number is 351.

Holy Family under an Oak Tree or Madonna of the Oak Tree is an oil on panel painting by Giulio Romano using a composition or underdrawing by Raphael. It is now in the Prado in Madrid. It is dated to c.1518 by its stylistic similarities to other works produced by the two artists around that time such as La Perla (Prado). In the background is a valley reminiscent of that of the River Tiber, with a ruin on a hill to the left based on the Basilica of Maxentius or the Baths of Caracalla.

Holy Family with Saint Catherine and Saint John the Baptist is an oil on canvas painting by Paolo Veronese, now in the Uffizi in Florence. Its dating is debated, varying between his early period and his late one, the latter influenced by Tintoretto, with the latter the majority view, placing it in c.1562-1565. Some early copies survive, one on parchment by Carlo Loth, one by Gian Antonio Guardi and a third of almost exactly the same dimensions as the original, possibly autograph.

Holy Family with Saints Anne and John the Baptist is a c.1530 oil on panel painting by Bernardino Luini. It was previously in the collection of cardinal Federico Borromeo, who recorded his acquisition of it in his writings and gave it to the new Biblioteca Ambrosiana in Milan in 1618, where it still hangs. The work was seized in 1796 by occupying French troops and taken to Paris, where it hung in the Louvre until being returned to Milan in 1815.

The painting's composition is strongly influenced by Raphael. The seraphim in the four corners of the work are thought to be later additions by a Sienese artist, possibly at the end of the 16th century – Judey attributes them to an artist in the circle of Correggio and Sanminiatelli to a generic Baroque-influenced Sienese artist.

It is attributed to Andrea Mantegna, dated to around 1500 and now held in the National Gallery, London. Its poor conservation means that some scholars do not directly attribute it to Mantegna, though its idea and format definitely refer to autograph works by him.

The Bergamo version is judged to be of exceptional quality, and the earliest.

Holy Family with St Jerome and St Anne is a 1534 signed and dated oil on canvas painting by Italian painter, draughtsman and illustrator Lorenzo Lotto, first recorded at the Palazzo Pitti at the start of the 18th century and now in the Uffizi in Florence.

Holy Family with the Family of St John the Baptist is a c.1536 oil on canvas painting by Lorenzo Lotto, now in the Louvre in Paris. It was probably produced as a private commission, possibly for a Venetian. However, for unknown reasons it remained with the artist, who tried to sell it on before leaving for the Marche in 1549, as recorded in a note in his commonplace books. He sought to use his friend Jacopo Sansovino as his go-between for the work, but Sansovino ended up unable to sell this or any other works by Lotto and returned them all to the painter.

Madonna and Child with a Man or Madonna and Child with a Male Figure is an oil painting on panel of c. 1503–04 by Bramantino in the Pinacoteca di Brera in Milan, which it entered in 1896. The painting had previously been in the collection of cardinal Cesare Monti, left to the Archdiocese of Milan in 1650. Its previous provenance is unknown, though its small dimensions suggest that it was intended for private devotion.

The Holy Family with Saints Anne and John the Baptist is a tempera on canvas painting by Andrea Mantegna, dating to 1495-1500. It measures 75.5 cm by 61.5 cm and is now in the Gemäldegalerie in Dresden.

The Holy Family and the Family of Saint John the Baptist is a casein tempera on canvas painting with gilding, measuring 40 by 169 cm and dating to around 1504-1506. It was painted by Andrea Mantegna and was mentioned by his second son Francesco as still being in Andrea's studio on his death in 1506. According to Andrea's wishes, both it and Baptism of Christ were assigned to his funerary chapel in the Basilica of Sant'Andrea, Mantua, where they still hang. The choice of theme is linked to the chapel's dedication to John the Baptist.

The Panciatichi Holy Family or Panciatichi Madonna and Child is a 1541 oil on panel painting by Bronzino, signed on a stone in the bottom left corner. It is now in the Uffizi in Florence, where it was first recorded in the Tribuna in 1704, where it remained until 2010, when it was moved as part of the "New Uffizi" project. Preparatory drawings for the work are in the Uffizi's Gabinetto dei Disegni e delle Stampe and in the Phillips collection in London.

Holy Family with the Infant Saint John the Baptist is a c.1528 painting by Parmigianino. It was in the Palazzo Farnese in Rome until 1662, when it moved to Parma. There it hung in the Palazzo del Giardino and later in the Galleria Ducale - the 'Descrizione' of the latter in 1725 called it one of the finest works on display there. It and the rest of the Farnese collection were later moved to Naples and the work was exhibited for a few years in the Palazzo Reale before moving to its present home in the National Museum of Capodimonte. Two early copies remain in the Galleria Nazionale and Palazzo Comunale in Parma.

The Canigiani Holy Family or Canigiani Madonna is a painting by the Italian High Renaissance artist Raphael from 1508. It is part of the permanent collection of the Alte Pinakothek in Munich, Germany.

The Holy Family is a 1518 painting of the Holy Family, Saint Elisabeth, an infant John the Baptist and two angels. It is signed by Raphael, but most of the work was delegated to his workshop assistants. It was commissioned by Pope Leo X as a gift to Claude, wife of Francis I of France, hence its name. It is now in the Louvre.

Holy Family with a Shepherd is a c.1510 painting by Titian, now in the National Gallery, London. It has also previously been attributed to Paris Bordone. It has previously been dated to around 1516 due to its colouring's similarities to the Balbi Holy Conversation of c.1516. The c.1510 date, based on the similarity of its figure of Saint Joseph to that of St. Mark Enthroned, is now more widely accepted. It shows Titian still under the influences of Giorgione and Giovanni Bellini, which also favours the c.1510 dating.

The Holy Kinship is a circa 1495 oil on panel painting of Holy Kinship by the workshop of the renaissance artist Geertgen tot Sint Jans in the collection of the Rijksmuseum.
