
A Model G20, also known as a Model G20 Summit, is an educational simulation for high school and college students. Students role play as government ministers from one of the G20 countries or their guests and negotiate solutions to defined problems. During a G20 summit, students learn about diplomacy, international relations, the G20, and other issues related to a theme of the summit. Some individual schools have Model G20 clubs for students interested in these topics.

Model United Nations, also known as model UN or MUN, is an educational simulation in which students can learn about diplomacy, international relations, and the United Nations. At an MUN conference, students work as the representative of a country, organization, or person, and must solve a problem with other delegates from around the world. MUN teaches participants skills like research, public speaking, debating, and writing skills, in addition to critical thinking, teamwork, and leadership. Usually an extracurricular activity, some schools also offer model UN as a class. It is meant to engage students and allow them to develop deeper understanding into current world issues.

The Asia Pacific Model United Nations Conference (AMUNC) is an annual travelling model United Nations conference for university students. Each conference is hosted in a different city within the Asia-Pacific region, attracting approximately 600 students from Asia, the Pacific Islands, Australia and New Zealand, making it one of the largest regional model UN conferences in the world. AMUNC is run entirely by student volunteers, usually coordinated through a relevant student association who has been licensed with the right to host AMUNC by Asia-Pacific MUN Conference Limited, with the support and backing of the host university. The conference typically takes place over a week in July, encompassing a variety of activities, including role-playing committees, guest speakers, career information stalls, and an extensive evening social activities program.

Bangladesh Model United Nations (BANMUN) is a Model United Nations conference organized by United Nations Youth and Students Association of Bangladesh (UNYSAB). UNYSAB organizes the conference with a view to promoting the idea of Model United Nations among the students from different institutions of Bangladesh.

The Bratislava Model United Nations (BratMUN) conference is an annual four-day event for high-school Model United Nations students. The conference is organized and held by the four IBD students from the IB program at Gymnasium Jur Hronec. BratMUN is funded by the Novohradska Foundation and supported financially or product-wise by numerous sponsors throughout the years. It is currently in its 20th installment.

CheongShim International Academy Model United Nations is an annually held Model United Nations hosted at and supported by CheongShim International Academy. It has been held since 2009. The conference itself lasts for two days and three nights. The conference is divided into a middle school and a high school division. In 2013, the topics included development of terrorism prevention methods, solutions for the scarcity of natural resources in the North Pole.

The Doon School Model United Nations (DSMUN) is an annual model United Nations conference run by The Doon School, an all-boys boarding school in Dehradun, India. Founded in 2007, it is one of India's largest MUNs in terms of number of delegates and committees. It is held on the school campus on a weekend in August. The conference receives students from all over the Indian subcontinent, including Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, as well as in recent years from Dubai and Oman.

Geneva International Model United Nations is an entirely student-run Non Governmental Organization in Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations since 2007. GIMUN is based in Geneva, Switzerland. It was created in 1999 by students of the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies. Its aim is to promote the ideals and principles of the United Nations by giving students a chance to participate in educative events.

The Harvard International Relations Council (HIRC) is a non-profit organization that seeks to promote awareness of international relations based out of Harvard University. As several semi-independent but centrally funded programs, the IRC focuses on a number of different outreach areas in an attempt to engage and inform people on international issues and policy-making. The Harvard National Model United Nations - Latin America (HNMUN-LA) is an annual traveling Model United Nations conference that is run by the Harvard International Relations Council and a local team from a host city. HNMUN-LA is the regional edition of Harvard National Model United Nations, considered the most prestigious MUN conference in the world. Its first edition was held in 2012 in Buenos Aires, Argentina; it has been held four times in Lima, Peru.

The Harvard World Model United Nations (WorldMUN) is an annual traveling model United Nations conference that is run by Harvard University and a local university team from a host city. WorldMUN moves to a new city each year and is regarded as one of the most prestigious international MUN conferences today. The Conference was first held in 1992. The Conference targets college students from all over the world who have a passion and interest to become a diplomat in the future.

I.I.M.U.N. is a youth organisation comprising 26,000 young organisers who put together student conferences in 160 cities across 22 countries, and work with over 7,500 schools impacting 10 million students. The organization simulates the workings of Indian Parliament and multi-lateral organisations for school students to engage them in debates about international relations, current affairs and world politics. The aim of the organisation is to get Indian students between 13 to 19 to become global citizens with an Indian mind-set.

The London International Model United Nations (LIMUN) is an annual three-day Model United Nations conference in London, United Kingdom. Taking place every February since 2000, LIMUN has established itself as Europe's largest such conference at university-level, bringing together over 1500 students – with some high school students and recent graduates – to deliberate on issues of global concern. It is organised by students from the various institutions of the University of London and other London-based universities. The 21st session of the conference took place from the 21st to the 23rd of February, 2020.

MUN Society Belgium is an inter-university student club aimed at broadening the mindset of its members as well as developing abilities such as speaking, debating and negotiating through participation in Model United Nations (MUN) conferences around the globe. The organization was founded in 2006 and has won awards and the patronage of the national and regional ministers of Foreign Affairs.

The Paris International Model United Nations (PIMUN) is an annual model United Nations (MUN) conference taking place in Paris, France. It is run by the students of 11 Parisian universities belonging to the Paris Intercollegiate United Nations Committee (CINUP). While PIMUN organizers indicate that it was formed in 2011, some evidence links its foundation to 2008, making it the oldest MUN conference in France. The participants of the conference are university students looking to debate and negotiate about international affairs and diplomacy.

Prague Student Summit (PSS) is an educational project for high school and university students, which has more than 20 years of tradition in the Czech Republic. Through simulation of negotiations of international organizations, the participants have the opportunity to widen their knowledge in fields like international affairs, human rights, economy, cultural heritage and environment. At the same time, they can develop their rhetorical, presentation and argumentation skills. The Prague Student Summit gives the participants a unique opportunity to get a glimpse of the world of diplomacy and international relations. It is a project that endorses the idea of informal education, puts emphasis on the development of individual and this way complements the education in Czech schools.

United Israel- Model United Nations Society is the umbrella organization for all the Model United Nations societies in Israel. United Israel is the arbitrating body for all issues relevant to all of the Israeli MUN societies.

WE Model United Nations Expo was established in 2007 and was one of the first high-school Model United Nations conferences in China. It has become international with delegates from around 30 different countries and with over 1500 delegates, and has now grown to become the largest permanent Model UN conference in Asia. The conference takes place at the Grand Epoch City Hotel in the outskirts of Beijing annually at the beginning of August.
