Jane's Combat Simulations

Jane's Combat Simulations was a brand of PC flight and combat flight simulators released by Electronic Arts (EA). The Jane's Information Group branding was purchased by Electronic Arts to lend authenticity and accuracy to their growing line of combat games. The license was announced in 1995, and games were released over the next 5 years, although Jane's Combat Simulations branded games had been released by Electronic Arts since 1994. In late 2000, Electronic Arts dropped Jane's Combat Simulations, leading to them being licensed by different companies.

Fleet Command, previously labelled as Jane's Fleet Command, is a real-time tactics naval warfare simulation computer game released in May 1999. It was developed by Sonalysts Inc. and published by Electronic Arts (EA). The game licensed parts of Jane's Information Group's military information database, which was used as an in-game "Jane's Library", reference material that the player could refer to while in-game. Jane's also licensed to EA the "Jane's" name and the "Jane's Combat Simulations" logo, and the game was marketed under the "Jane's" name, much like the previous "Jane's Fighters Anthology", also published by Electronic Arts.

An expansion pack, NATO Fighters, was released in 1996. A compilation package, Advanced Tactical Fighters Gold, was released in 1997 for Microsoft Windows.

Based on World War II, the game allows players to pilot fifteen reproductions of that era's military aircraft and to carry out missions for the Axis or Allies. Although it contains dogfights, the game focuses largely on air-to-ground combat, hence the title.

Jane's USAF is a combat flight simulation video game developed by Israeli studio Pixel Multimedia and released in 1999 as part of Jane's Combat Simulations series. The game is set from the late 1960s to the early 2000s and it is a jet aircraft survey simulation featuring satellite imagery for terrain which allowed quite detailed graphics for the time of the release of Jane's USAF. The game features four campaigns: the Vietnam War, Persian Gulf War, and two fictional campaigns, one based on the Red Flag exercises and one depicting a war between NATO and Russia in the then-future of 2005. Also included are single missions, with maps from the Middle East to Korea. Training missions include take-off, landing, and refuelling in Nellis Air Force Base.
