
The Alessandri Altarpiece is a tempera on panel painting by Filippo Lippi, also known as Saint Lawrence Enthroned Between Saints Cosmas and Damian and Donors and Saint Lawrence Enthroned with Saints and Donors. It is now in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
The Basilica di San Lorenzo is one of the largest churches of Florence, Italy, situated at the centre of the city’s main market district, and the burial place of all the principal members of the Medici family from Cosimo il Vecchio to Cosimo III. It is one of several churches that claim to be the oldest in Florence, having been consecrated in 393, at which time it stood outside the city walls. For three hundred years it was the city's cathedral before the official seat of the bishop was transferred to Santa Reparata.

Decemviri Altarpiece is a painting by the Italian Renaissance artist Pietro Perugino, executed in 1495-1496, and housed in the Pinacoteca Vaticana in Vatican City.

The Immaculate Conception with Saint Lawrence and Saint Francis of Paola is an oil on canvas altarpiece by the Italian Rococo painter Giovanni Domenico Tiepolo. It is on display in the Musée des Beaux-Arts of Strasbourg, France. Its inventory number is 435.

Madonna and Child with Saints Julian and Lawrence is a c.1423–1425 tempera and gold leaf on panel painting by Gentile da Fabriano. It is now in the Frick Collection in New York. To the left is saint Lawrence in a deacon's dalmatic and holding the gridiron of his martyrdom, whilst to the right is saint Julian.

The Massa Fermana Altarpiece is a 1468 tempera and gold on panel by Carlo Crivelli, held in Santi Lorenzo e Silvestro church in the town of Massa Fermana. It is signed "KAROLVS CRIVELLVS VENETVS PINXIT HOC OPVS MCCCCLXVIII". It is his earliest known surviving work and is notable for dating his return to Italy.

Saint Lawrence is a 1636-1639 oil on canvas painting by Francisco de Zurbarán, now in the Hermitage Museum. It was probably commissioned by cardinal Gabriele Paleotti, archbishop of Bologna, or by the Monastery of San José.

Saint Lawrence's Vision of the Virgin Mary is a 1577 oil on canvas painting by El Greco, produced early in his Toledo period. It was commissioned by Rodrigo de Castro, inquisitor, archbishop of Seville, bishop of Cuenca and bishop of Zamora, making it one of the artist's few private commissions from that time. It is now in the Colegio del Cardenal in Monforte de Lemos.

The San Lorenzo Triptych is a tempera on panel altarpiece by Giovanni Bellini and others. Its central panel of Saint Lawrence measures 127 by 48 cm, its lunette of the Madonna and Child 59 by 170 cm and its side panels of John the Baptist and Antony of Padua 103 by 45 cm each. It is now in the Gallerie dell'Accademia in Venice.
