
Černé jezero in the Bohemian Forest is the largest and deepest natural lake in the Czech Republic.
Jordán Reservoir is a reservoir inside the city of Tábor, South Bohemian Region, Czech Republic. Built in 1492, it is the oldest dam on the territory of the Czech Republic.

Komořanské jezero is a former lake in the Czech Republic that is now non-existent as it has dried up. It had an area of approximately 140 ha. It was located in the Krušné hory mountain range in the northwestern part of the country.

Lake Laka is located in the Czech part of the Šumava mountains. It is the highest and smallest lake in that area with a position of 1,096 metres above sea level and an area of 2.7ha. The lake is a part of the so-called glacial lakes of which there are five in Czech Republic and three in Germany.

Medard is an artificial lake in the Karlovy Vary Region of the Czech Republic, northwest of Sokolov, near Svatava and Habartov. The lake was created by flooding the former coal mine called Medard-Libík. The lake's surface area stretches 493 ha, its maximum depth is 50 m and the capacity is approximately 50 mil. m3. It is the largest lake in the Czech Republic.

Lake Milada, also known as Chabařovické jezero, is a reservoir in the Czech Republic. It originated from excavation by an old coal mine and flooded former villages, Hrbovice, Tuchomyšl and Vyklice. The lake's surface area stretches 250 ha, which makes it slightly smaller than nearby Lake Mácha. Its average depth is 15.5 meters and its maximum depth is 22 m. The capacity is approximately 35 mil. m3.

Odlezly Lake is the youngest lake in the Czech Republic. The lake and its surroundings is a protected natural area.

Rozkoš Lake - is a reservoir located in the northern part of the Czech Republic, located close to the town of Česká Skalice. The reservoir is feed by the Rovenský potok, Rozkoš and a 2,34 km in length canal from the Úpa. The building of the dam of the reservoir began in 1951, however after one year of construction further works were halted. The construction of the dam was resumed in 1964. The dam's construction was complete in 1969. The reservoir functions as a flood preventative, retention basin, recreational and for the breeding of fish.
