The Aiud or Aiudul de Sus is a left tributary of the river Mureș in Transylvania, Romania. It discharges into the Mureș in Aiud. The upper reach is also known as Siloș. Its length is 27 km (17 mi) and its basin size is 182 km2 (70 sq mi).
The Almaș is a right tributary of the river Mureș in Romania. It discharges into the Mureș near Zam. Its length is 18 km (11 mi) and its basin size is 86 km2 (33 sq mi).
The Almaș is a left tributary of the river Someș in Romania. It discharges into the Someș in Turbuța near Jibou. Its length is 68 km (42 mi) and its basin size is 384 km2 (148 sq mi). The name of the river means "apple + "s" as an adjective suffix" in the hungarians language.

The Motru is a right tributary of the river Jiu in Southwestern Romania. It discharges into the Jiu in Gura Motrului, near the town Filiași. Its length is 134 km (83 mi) and its hydrological basin size is 1,895 km2 (732 sq mi).

The Aranca or Zlatica is a 117 km long river in the Banat region of Romania and Serbia, left tributary of the river Tisa.

After crossing Bihor County in Romania and Hajdú-Bihar and Békés County in Hungary, it flows into the Sebes-Körös near Szeghalom. Its length in Romania is 134 km (83 mi).
The Bârlad is a river in eastern Romania, a left tributary of the river Siret. Its total length is 207 km (129 mi), and its drainage basin area is 7,220 km2 (2,790 sq mi). Its source is in the low hills between the Siret and Prut rivers, southwest of Iași. It flows generally south, through the cities of Negrești, Vaslui, Bârlad and Tecuci. The Bârlad flows through the Romanian counties of Neamț, Vaslui and Galați. It flows into the Siret near Suraia.

The Bârzava or Brzava is a river in Romania and Serbia. The Bârzava is part of the Black Sea drainage basin and flows into the river Timiș. It is 166 km long and has a drainage area of 1,190 km².

The Bâsca, also called Bâsca Mare in its upper course, and Bâsca Roziliei in its lower course, is a left tributary of the river Buzău, in Romania. It discharges into the Buzău near Nehoiu.

The Bâsca Chiojdului is a right tributary of the river Buzău in Romania. It discharges into the Buzău in Cislău. The following villages are situated along the river Bâsca Chiojdului, from source to mouth: Bâsca Chiojdului, Chiojdu, Lera, Cătina, Calvini. The Bega or Begej, is a 244 km long river in Romania and Serbia. It rises in the Poiana Ruscă Mountains in Romania, part of the Carpathian Mountains, and it flows into the Tisa river near Titel, Vojvodina, Serbia. Its drainage basin covers an area of 4,458 km2 (1,721 sq mi), of which 2,362 km2 (912 sq mi) in Romania.
The Beu is a right tributary of the river Nera in Romania. It discharges into the Nera near Sasca Română. Its length is 19 km (12 mi) and its basin size is 53 km2 (20 sq mi). The upper reach of the river is also known as Beu Sec or Răcăjdianu.

The Bicaz is a right tributary of the river Bistrița in Romania. Its source is in the Hășmaș Mountains. Its uppermost course, upstream from Red Lake, is also called Vereșchiu. Other tributaries of Lacul Roșu are Pârâul Oii (Oaia), Licoș and Suhard. It discharges into the Bistrița in Bicaz. The Bilca Mare is a left tributary of the river Suceava. Its source is located in Ukraine. The river then crosses the border into Romania, joining the Suceava near the village of Bilca. In Romania, its length is 7 km (4.3 mi) and its basin size is 30 km2 (12 sq mi).
The Bistra is a right tributary of the river Sebeș in Romania. It discharges into the Tău Reservoir, which is drained by the Sebeș. Its length is 12 km (7.5 mi) and its basin size is 49 km2 (19 sq mi).
Bistrița is a right tributary of the river Olt in Romania. It discharges into the Olt near Băbeni. It starts in the Căpățânii Mountains forming one of the narrowest gorges in Romania and some beautiful caves. It flows through the villages Bistrița, Costești, Bălțățeni, Tomșani, Foleștii de Jos and Frâncești. Its length is 50 km (31 mi) and its basin size is 355 km2 (137 sq mi).

The Bistrița is a river in the Romanian regions of Maramureș, Bukovina and Moldavia. It is a right tributary of the river Siret. Near Bacău it flows into the Siret. Its source is in the Rodna Mountains, at the foot of the Gârgalău peak. It flows through the counties Bistrița-Năsăud, Suceava, Neamț and Bacău. The towns Vatra Dornei, Bicaz, Piatra Neamț, Roznov, Buhuși and Bacău lie along the Bistrița. The Bistrița is 283 km long, and its basin area is 7039 km².

The Bistrița is a river in the Romanian region of Transylvania, Bistrița-Năsăud County. It is sometimes referred to as Bistrița ardeleană. Near the city of Bistrița it flows into the Șieu, a tributary of the Someșul Mare. Its length is 67 km (42 mi) and its basin size is 650 km2 (250 sq mi).

It flows into the Siret close to its confluence with the Danube, west of Galați.

The Cacaina is a left tributary of the river Bahlui in eastern Romania. It flows into the Bahlui in the city Iași. Its length is 21 km (13 mi) and its basin size is 63 km2 (24 sq mi). The Vânători and Cârlig dams are located on the river.

The Călmățui is a left tributary of the Danube in Romania. Its source is a few km southwest of Buzău. It flows generally eastwards and flows into the Danube at Berteștii de Jos. Its length is 152 km (94 mi) and its basin size is 1,668 km2 (644 sq mi).

The Căpuș is a left tributary of the river Someșul Mic in Romania. It discharges into the Someșul Mic in Gilău. Its length is 32 km (20 mi) and its basin size is 142 km2 (55 sq mi).

The Karaš or Caraș is a 110-kilometre (68 mi) long river in the Banat region of Vojvodina, Serbia and Romania and a left tributary of the Danube. The Karaš drains an area of 1,400 square kilometres (540 sq mi) and although it has been channeled it is not navigable.
The Cârțișoara is a left tributary of the river Olt in Romania. Its source is near Bâlea Lake in the Făgăraș Mountains. It discharges into the Olt in Cârța. Its length is 24 km (15 mi) and its basin size is 79 km2 (31 sq mi).

The Cașin is a right tributary of the river Râul Negru in Romania. It discharges into the Râul Negru in Catalina. The Cavnic is a right tributary of the river Lăpuș in Maramureș County, Romania. It discharges into the Lăpuș near Copalnic-Mănăștur. Its length is 37 km (23 mi) and its basin size is 256 km2 (99 sq mi).
The Cerna is a river in Romania, a left tributary of the river Danube. The Cerna has its source on the south-east side of the Godeanu Mountains and flows into the Danube near the town Orșova. The upper reach of the river is sometimes called Cernișoara. With a length of 79 km (49 mi) and its basin of 1,380 km2 (530 sq mi), it carves an erosive tectonic valley with numerous gorges, quite deep sometimes. There is a man-made lake on it (Tierna), just before it crosses the Băile Herculane spa, to perpetuate the old toponimic od Dierna. The upper course of the Cerna is part of the Domogled-Valea Cernei National Park. The Cerna flows through the villages and towns Cerna-Sat, Țațu, Băile Herculane, Pecinișca, Bârza, Topleț, Coramnic and Orșova.

The Cerna is a left tributary of the river Mureș in Transylvania, Romania. Its name both in Romanian and Hungarian languages originates from a Slav language, meaning "black (water)". Its source is in the Poiana Ruscă Mountains. It flows through the town Hunedoara and the villages Gura Bordului, Lunca Cernii de Sus, Lunca Cernii de Jos, Hășdău, Dăbâca, Toplița, Cinciș-Cerna, Teliucu Superior, Teliucu Inferior, Peștișu Mare and Sântandrei. It discharges into the Mureș near Deva. Its length is 73 km (45 mi) and its basin size is 727 km2 (281 sq mi).

The Cerna is a left tributary of the river Olteț in Romania. It discharges into the Olteț in Bălcești. It flows through the communes Vaideeni, Slătioara, Stroești, Copăceni, Lăpușata, Lădești, Stănești, Fârtățești, Măciuca, Valea Mare and Bălcești. Its length is 164 km (102 mi) and its basin size is 618 km2 (239 sq mi).
The Cernișoara is a left tributary of the river Cerna in Romania. It discharges into the Cerna in Măldărești. It flows through the villages Cernișoara, Armășești, Groși, Modoia, Saioci, Ciocâltei and Roești. Its length is 28 km (17 mi) and its basin size is 89 km2 (34 sq mi).

Cibin is a river in central Romania, in the south part of Transylvania. Its source is close to the highest peak in the Cindrel Mountains of the Southern Carpathian Mountains. Upstream from its confluence with the Râul Mic, the river is also called Râul Mare. The river flows entirely in Sibiu County.

The Ciorogârla is a left tributary of the river Sabar in Romania. It discharges into the Sabar in Jilava. Its length is 57 km (35 mi) and its basin size is 149 km2 (58 sq mi). For the flood protection of the city of Bucharest the floods of the Dâmbovița are diverted at Brezoaele into the Ciorogârla.

The Ciric is a left tributary of the river Bahlui in Romania. It discharges into the Bahlui in the city Iași. Its length is 17 km (11 mi) and its basin size is 58 km2 (22 sq mi). Lakes Dorobanț, Aroneanu, Ciric I, Ciric II, Ciric III are located on the Ciric River.

The Colentina is a left tributary of the river Dâmbovița in Romania. It discharges into the Dâmbovița near Cernica. It passes through the city of Bucharest and the villages and towns Călugăreni, Bălănești, Ghimpați, Ciocănești, Crevedia, Buftea, Mogoșoaia, Pantelimon and Cernica. Its length is 101 km (63 mi) and its basin size is 643 km2 (248 sq mi).

The Corhana is a river in western Romania and eastern Hungary, a tributary of the Crișul Repede. Its source is 2 km south of the village Șauaieu. It flows in western direction towards Cefa, where much of its flow is diverted by the Criș Collector Canal towards the Crișul Negru near Tămașda. Part of its flow continues west and crosses the Hungarian border near Geszt. The river is diverted into the canals of the drainage system of the area.

The Cosău is a right tributary of the river Mara in Romania. It discharges into the Mara near Berbești. Its length is 25 km (16 mi) and its basin size is 116 km2 (45 sq mi).
The Coșuștea is a right tributary of the river Motru in Romania. It discharges into the Motru near Corcova. Its length is 75 km (47 mi) and its basin size is 437 km2 (169 sq mi).
The Cracău is a left tributary of the river Bistrița in Romania. It is formed at the confluence of its headwaters Cracăul Alb and Cracăul Negru in Magazia. It discharges into the Bistrița in Roznov. Its length is 66 km (41 mi) and its basin size is 447 km2 (173 sq mi).
