Atlit Yam is an ancient submerged Neolithic village off the coast of Atlit, Israel. It has been carbon-dated as to be between 8,900 and 8,300 years old. Among the features of the 10-acre site is a stone circle.

Ba'ja

Ba'ja is a Neolithic village 14 kilometres (8.7 mi) north of Petra, Jordan. Like the nearby site of Basta, the settlement was built in c. 7000 BC, during the PPNB period. Ba'ja lies at an altitude of around 1,160 metres (3,810 ft), and is only accessible with a climbing route through a narrow, steep canyon.

Baalbek is a city located east of the Litani River in Lebanon's Beqaa Valley, about 67 km (42 mi) northeast of Beirut. It is the capital of Baalbek-Hermel Governorate. In Greek and Roman times Baalbek was also known as Heliopolis. In 1998 Baalbek had a population of 82,608, mostly Shia Muslims, followed by Sunni Muslims and Christians.

Banpo is an archaeological site discovered in 1953 and located in the Yellow River Valley just east of Xi'an, China. It contains the remains of several well organized Neolithic settlements, like Jiangzhai, carbon dated to 6700–5600 years ago. The area of 5 to 6 hectares is surrounded by a ditch, probably a defensive moat, 5 to 6 meters wide. The houses were circular, built of mud and wood with overhanging thatched roofs. They sat on low foundations. There appear to be communal burial areas.

Basta (Jordan)

Basta is a pre-historic archaeological site in Ma'an Governorate, Jordan, 36 kilometres (22 mi) southeast of Petra. It is named for the nearby contemporary village of Basta, which hosted a major Ottoman garrison during WWI and the Great Arab Revolt. Like the nearby site of Ba'ja, Basta was built in c. 7000 BC and belongs to the PPNB period. Basta is one of the earliest known places to have a settled population who grew crops and domesticated livestock. The houses in Basta were circular single family homes built from limestone, with wooden floors. Because Basta's settlement predates pottery, all tools found there were made from stone and bone. Tools discovered at the site include millstones and granite arrowheads, the latter of which were noted for the quality of their craftsmanship.

Bodai is located 15 km northwest of the ancient city of Baalbek and 26 km from the Lebanese–Syrian border and is 90 kilometers (55.926 mi) away from the capital of Beirut. Bodai, which sits in the foothills of the Mount Lebanon range, has views across the Beqaa Valley toward the city of Baalbek, and the Anti-Lebanon range that divides Lebanon from Syria.

Horr's Island

Horr's Island is a significant Archaic period archaeological site located on an island in Southwest Florida formerly known as Horr's Island. Horr's Island is on the south side of Marco Island in Collier County, Florida. The site includes four mounds and a shell ring. It has one of the oldest known mound burials in the eastern United States, dating to about 3400 radiocarbon years Before Present (BP). One of the mounds has been dated to as early as 6700 BP. It was the largest known community in the southeastern United States to have been permanently occupied during the Archaic period.

Nahal Issaron is a wadi and neolithic settlement in southern Negev, Israel. It is located at the eastern edge of Biqat Uvda, 35 kilometres (22 mi) north of the Gulf of Elat and 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) west of Arabah Rift valley. Excavations carried out by Avi Gopher and Nigel Goring-Morris in Nahal Issaron in 1980 uncovered remnants of an early pastoralist settlement belonging to the Pre-Pottery Neolithic B period.
